About this venue
The Doniphan Event Center, a spacious 14,000 sq ft facility opened in 2013, was envisioned as a "Center for Community Unity" and a premier wedding destination. Driven by the Doniphan Economic Development Corporation (DEDC) after community surveys highlighted the need for such a space, the center became a reality thanks to the acquisition of 3.1 acres in 2011. DEDC members dedicated significant effort to bring this project to fruition, creating a versatile venue designed to host a wide range of celebrations, particularly weddings and receptions for the surrounding area.

The Event Center offers a welcoming foyer with lounges, two meeting rooms (divisible into one large space), and a grand 6,866 sq ft banquet hall with seating for up to 400 guests. Rental includes tables and chairs, and a well-equipped kitchen caters to event needs. Designed by a local architect, the center has since hosted numerous wedding receptions, alongside community events and other celebrations. Its purpose-built spaces and ample amenities make it an ideal choice for couples seeking a central and accommodating venue for their special day.
