Greengate Manor And Gardens can host weddings & events both indoors (capacity 50) & outdoors (capacity 100). At the heart of the gardens, our 1,500 square foot high-peak pole tent is complete with handcrafted wood flooring and romantic string lighting. Signature features include a custom-built white bench nestled between two magic trees, our classic white colonnades (a timeless ceremony backdrop), a wooden swing above a whimsical fairy garden, our romantic iron gazebo, and the iconic iron Greengate that welcomes guests to this storied property. What began as a stately home nearly a century ago is now a cherished destination for weddings, milestones, and gatherings that turn into lifelong memories. At Greengate Manor And Gardens, history isn’t just preserved, it’s beautifully celebrated.

My partner and I toured this property for a private event we are hosting later this year! We’ve explored other event venues in the area and I must say Greengate Manor & Gardens really took our breath away. The attention to details is prevalent throughout the property & we got a chance to meet the property manager Michelle who was absolutely delightful & helpful. Some of my favorite features were the high peak tent which sets this venue apart & creates such a luxurious & elegant feel. The blooming gardens and the indoor space available are all well kept and beautifully decorated. We are so thrilled to move forward with booking this space. Additionally, this venue is owned by a lovely couple and you can tell they have put their heart and soul into the details of the venue, it’s rare to find a venue space that has that human touch & warmth and Greengate Manor certainly excels in that respect!

I highly recommend checking out Greengate Manor and Gardens if you’re looking for a beautiful venue with lots of character and charm. We had wedding portraits taken here and we were so impressed with how many beautiful backdrops there were. Not to mention, the owners are the loveliest people. As someone who has planned events at many venues, Greengate is the most inclusive we have found! They include a tent on property, which is such a bonus if you’re familiar with the cost of a tent rental. Whether you’re getting married, hosting a bridal luncheon, or an anniversary party, I highly recommend Greengate Manor and Gardens!

Yes, cheers to that! Alcohol is allowed at our venue, but it must be served by a licensed and insured bartender or caterer (no self-serve bars, sorry!). If you’re planning to serve liquor, North Carolina law requires a one-day permit from the ABC Commission.

Our spacious grass lot in front of the manor offers parking for up to 40 cars.

Yes! Both our indoor and outdoor spaces — including our two restrooms — are wheelchair accessible, so all guests can comfortably enjoy the celebration.

To secure your date, a 50% non-refundable deposit and a signed contract are required. The total balance is due 60 days before your event. Payments can be made in installments before the 60-day mark. If you need to cancel: 45 days in advance – you’ll receive a 50% refund of your final payment. 30 days in advance – you’ll receive a 25% refund of your final payment. Need to reschedule? No problem — your payment can be applied to a new available date.

Yes, the main client or event planner must provide one-day event insurance with Greengate Manor LLC named as the Additional Insured. All vendors are also required to submit a Certificate of Insurance (COI). We also require a security deposit via check or money order, due 30 days before your event. After a post-event walk-through, the deposit will be promptly returned.

Indoor Events (Manor): Monday – Sunday: 10 AM – 9 PM Outdoor Events (Gardens & Tent): Monday – Thursday: 10 AM – 7 PM Friday: 10 AM – 8 PM Saturday: 10 AM – 10 PM Sunday: 10 AM – 7 PM We allow 1 additional hour for vendor teardown and egress. Extended check-in time (starting at 8am) can be purchased as needed.
