About this venue
WE OFFER A CLASSIC, VERSATILE, INCLUSIVE, AFFORDABLE, and LOW STRESS VENUE. My husband David and I have taken into account every detail you would need on your wedding weekend, from the Friday set up and rehearsal, to the Saturday preparations and photos, to the ceremony, reception, and after party! Our overnight accommodations of two suites inside the venue along with stand alone separate groom's and bride's houses, make the weekend even easier! We even include a relaxed Sunday morning check out if needed. All is set up by us and ready for you on Friday when you check in so that you may remain on-site, stress free, focusing solely on loved ones and the special commitment you are about to make to one another, and not on running back and forth from place to place. You supply the photographer, caterer, people, and the love, and we take care of the rest; at Historic Ann’s 1893, we’ve got it all made easy for you! Julie Hill, owner

The footprint of the total venue is 4+ acres including Pam’s Meadow, a beautiful large outdoor ceremony/reception space, and two additional homes for overnight lodging options on site. All is conveniently located so you can relax and focus on your loved ones in a no stress environment!

Pam's Meadow is our large outdoor ceremony and reception space. Surrounded by a grove of trees, this beautiful space is usable year round.

There are 3 bedrooms (2 bedrooms have a queen bed in each and the 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds) and there are 2 full baths. For more than 6 people, couch surfing will need to be explored and/or a blow up mattress and bedding provided by the client. There are 3 electric fireplaces for warmth and ambiance throughout. Enjoy the deck, grill, and the view!

Bride's House Rosie's Retreat
Rosie’s Retreat is our dedicated “Bride’s House”, but may be used for family, friends, or whatever your needs are.
Rosie’s Retreat will sleep 6-8 and will include 2 queen beds, 1 sofa queen, and a twin futon. Rosie’s has a large fire pit and grill out back with plenty of room for the bride’s and groom’s parties and family to relax together and enjoy early evening sunsets and late evening star-filled skies.

Amazing,people,location,atmosphere, everything!
Historic Ann’s was absolutely amazing ! Mrs. Julie & Miss. Ellen were just fantastic to work with ! We wanted to keep a very intimate wedding with a relaxed vibe & they made it all come true . We were able to enjoy every moment without having to worry about any issues . We rented out all 3 of Mrs. Julie’s properties for our family & the ceremony / reception . We had so many compliments on the atmosphere & the decor ! All the interior design is hand picked / hand made by Mrs. Julie and her husband, which made everything feel just so homey and comfortable . I can’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else, I am so glad we stumbled upon her location ! We’re already talking about having another party / gathering there !

Historic Ann's 1893 - Wedding & Event Venue is a fantastic choice for a wedding! Their communication was effective, clear, and always timely. The quality of their work and venue was great - the open, outdoor, historic space was beautiful and they were very accommodating and supportive. The team was also incredibly pleasant to work with and very friendly, which added to the positive experience. I highly recommend Historic Ann's 1893 to any couple looking for a wonderful wedding venue.

From the moment we first reached out to Historic Ann's 1893 - Wedding & Event Venue, Julie and Ellen were incredibly prompt, friendly, and attentive in their communication. Their professionalism and warmth put us at ease throughout the entire wedding planning process. When we arrived at their beautiful, historic venue, we were blown away by how gorgeous and well-appointed the space was - so much is included in their very affordable package! Julie and Ellen were available all weekend to quickly answer any questions or concerns we had, ensuring our special day went off without a hitch. We cannot recommend Historic Ann's 1893 enough - the amazing value, stunning aesthetics, and amazing staff made our wedding day truly unforgettable.

Historic Ann's 1893 - Wedding & Event Venue is a diamond in the rough, especially considering the overpriced wedding industry. From the moment we first reached out, Julie was incredibly warm, easy to work with, and accommodating of our schedule since we lived out of state. The venue itself is simply gorgeous - completely lush and green, with a timeless, classic feel that required minimal additional decor. We felt like we got so much more than our money's worth, as the beautiful grounds made for stunning photos. Being able to stay on the property made things run so smoothly. I would recommend a day of coordinator if you could afford it, as we did not. We paid for the ultimate package and the venue coordinator set us up for the weekend upon arrival on that Friday; it would have very helpful to have someone managing our vision on the day of. Unbelievable quality for the price and an absolutely unforgettable memory.
