At Shining Tides, Weddings by the Sea, we are dedicated to bringing you your dream wedding. Located on the picture-perfect Mattapoisett Harbor, Shining Tides Weddings is sure to bring you a night to remember. With an event coordinator who is there for all your needs, you will only have to focus on saying "I do!" Consistent with the Y’s mission to promote and encourage life-long development for children and families through programs that build healthy spirits, minds, and bodies, proceeds from events booked at Shining Tides help to provide scholarship funds for children who otherwise could not afford to attend summer camp. Sharing the love you feel on your wedding day through a connection that extends even beyond your wedding guests and into the greater community creates a truly memorable and gratifying event.

Romantic Atmosphere
Shining Tides is gorgeous and on top of a stunning venue, the on-site wedding coordinator is a dream to work with. The location’s views are beyond dreamy and the porch with its rustic exposed beams is the perfect empty canvas. You truly can make this place your own and have the wedding of your dreams. I loved our whole experience and would completely recommend this venue, in fact we already have!

The festivities can begin with a breezy ceremony on the mansion’s private lawn overlooking the beach or on the beach itself - couples can marry with their toes in the sand or their feet planted firmly on the fresh green lawn. In the distance, the harbor’s bright blue waters are sprinkled with white watercraft.

Best wedding ever!!!
Shining Tides is an absolute gem of a venue for anyone who wants a beachy wedding!! My husband and I got married on 6/28/24, and it was the best day ever! Elizabeth was incredible to work with from start to finish. She was extremely communicative, organized, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the whole planning process. The whole day felt seamless and perfect, and our vision truly came to life. The venue itself is stunning- truly picturesque! An added bonus that Shining Tides teams with Russell Morin for catering- the food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and our guests can’t stop raving about it all! I’ve lost track as to how many people said it was the best wedding they’ve been to. Huge thank you to Elizabeth for making our day just so special!!
