Tethered Events is a historic three-story venue in Chicago’s South Loop, blending exposed brick, modern finishes, and an industrial-chic vibe perfect for weddings with personality. Our spacious top floor, The Loft, features 16-foot ceilings, front-facing windows for natural light, and a flexible open layout ideal for ceremonies and receptions of up to 120 guests. The second floor, The Antler Room, offers a warm, moody lounge setting for cocktail hour while The Loft is seamlessly flipped from ceremony to reception. For a unique wedding-day touch, our first-floor Tasting Room can serve as a stylish getting-ready suite, complete with the option to host a private mimosa bar for your wedding party. Whether you’re envisioning a romantic, intimate celebration or a full-building buyout for larger gatherings, Tethered Events combines thoughtful design, versatile spaces, and personal hospitality to create a wedding experience your guests will never forget.

The Loft is Tethered Events’ signature space. A spacious, open-concept venue with 16-foot ceilings, exposed brick, and natural light pouring in through large front-facing windows. Perfect for weddings and receptions, it accommodates up to 100 guests for a seated dinner. The second-floor Antler Room can be used for cocktail hour while The Loft is flipped, and the first-floor Tasting Room offers a stylish getting-ready suite with an optional mimosa bar.

    We hosted our welcome party at Tethered Events and were absolutely thrilled with the experience! The location is unbeatable—a large, open loft space that feels both modern and uniquely Chicago. It’s centrally located and gave our guests an easy and memorable destination to kick off the weekend. The booking and planning process was seamless. The team at Tethered was warm, responsive, and genuinely fun to work with. Shout out to Tyler and Blair for being amazing! They made everything feel effortless and collaborative, which meant a lot during such a busy time. We comfortably hosted about 100 guests, complete with a custom drink menu, catering, and dancing. The flow of the loft space made it easy for guests to mingle, celebrate, and enjoy every moment. Special thanks to the Tethered team for helping us create such a joyful and unforgettable evening. It was perfect!!
