I am very experienced, having run a successful full-time business in the wedding industry for over 20 years. I am always the primary shooter, editor, etc. and handle every element of my business. Package options are relatively affordable + fully customizable.

Chad was excellent to work with - we wanted a video that felt authentic, candid, and beautiful, and that is exactly what we got! We loved working with Chad and Samantha. They captured all the special moments of the day and were professional. The video and audio quality were amazing in both the short vignette and long vignette videos! We requested a full video of the church ceremony and we had both Chad and Samantha to capture different angles - the editing of the different angles and shots were excellent quality. Chad was a nice calming presence throughout the day and was very easy going, which is what we needed! It was also a pleasure corresponding with Chad prior to and after our wedding. He was very quick to respond. Thank you, Chad!

If you have any questions about whether it’s worth getting a video of your wedding, DO IT!!!! Make sure to reach out to Chad Whelan of Digital Waves and check out his amazing work! His wife Samantha works as his second camera woman and the two of them work seamlessly together to ensure every moment of your special day is captured! My husband and I got married in November of 2024 in Simsbury, CT, Chad has worked at the Riverview venue multiple times and knows exactly where to get the best shots. We wanted every moment captured from getting ready, to the ceremony to speeches and cake cutting and of course, dancing! It felt like we were at the wedding all over again while watching the video! It was exactly what we visioned! The package we paid for was very well priced! We highly recommend Chad and hope to be able to work with him again some day for another event.

Yes, fully insured. We’re happy to send a copy of our certificate of liability insurance to your venue or any other vendors upon request.

Chad is always the primary shooter! No employees or freelancers here, just me. I handle every facet of my business from the initial inquiry through the completion of editing.

We provide digital copies and always highly recommend you back up your video files in multiple locations. We will also keep an archival back up in house for 10 years from your wedding date just in case.

20+ years of successful full-time business in the wedding industry. I started the company in 2001 and this has been my full-time job ever since. I never wanted to be a large company with employees and to this day have stuck with my roots. I handle every facet of my business form initial sales calls to shooting to editing.

Yes absolutely! I am a fully licensed commercial drone pilot. Many venues are starting to require proof of license to fly on property which I will provide upon request.

A year in advance is the average booking time for video although I highly recommend locking up any vendor you really like right away to guarantee availability. Normally the deposit is 50% but I completely understand laying out multiple vendor deposits adds up quickly. I am always happy to break up the initial deposit to make things work and lock in the date if need be.

I do have rain/snow protection for my camera gear and will do whatever it takes to continue shooting in any weather.
