I grew-up in Belém, the state of Pará, in Brazil. When I explain where Belém is, I always say it is next to the Amazon. I also say what a beautiful city it is. After Belém I moved to Rio, where I realized how much passion I have for photography. It wasn't until I came to Chicago that I could be myself and do what I love. I studied video before photography and started doing short films. Today, I am a photographer and videographer with a great heart, who wants to capture memories. This is the way I express myself. That is Izabella West -- happy and in love with the world!

One of the best decisions we made was to use Izabella and West Films to capture our wedding. She had done my sister's wedding a couple of years prior and my family loved her immediately and she did such an incredible job. Izabella is friendly, professional, and an extremely gifted videographer. She exceeded our wildest dreams and we cannot stop watching our wedding rehearsal dinner highlight videos on repeat :) Izabella and her team captured the most special moments and we couldn't be happier with the quality of the end products. Definitely! While we’re based in Illinois, Chicago we’re available for destination weddings worldwide. If your wedding is over 50 miles outside the Chicago metropolitan area, we’re happy to come to your city for an additional fee to cover the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations.

Absolutely. Reach out anytime to ask about our special pricing for elopements! Please note your elopement must have fewer than 10 total guests.

Once you know your wedding date, we recommend reaching out as soon as possible about our availability. We film a limited number of weddings every year to ensure our couples receive the highest quality service, so our calendar typically fills up months in advance.

Yes! We’re happy to send a copy of our certificate of liability insurance to your venue or any other vendors upon request.

Unfortunately, we cannot film outdoors in the rain or other inclement weather conditions like snow and hail.

All footage we film is edited by Izabella West the owner.

No, we’ll send a private link to share your final wedding video with you. Only people with that link will be able to see your video.

My basic wedding package include one videographer. If you’re getting ready at different address and having a larger wedding with 100 or more guests, we recommend booking an additional videographer to ensure we’re able to capture every moment of your special day.
