  • Starts at $9,000

Historic, breath taking 4 story barn The farm and barn are about 200 years old, and the barn was originally used for cows. Over the years, it has been very well taken care of, so the original beams are still there, in sizes and shapes that you just can't get anymore! The owners are the third generation in their family to take care of the property and are very grateful to be the current stewards. The barn renovations completed in 2020 and it is all ADA compliant and up to code. In the barn, there is a full sound system, 14 chandeliers, a beautiful live edge bar top, two high end composting toilets (the flushing kind!), massive barn blue doors on each end, and a grand entrance staircase. The barn holds up to 200 people and is big enough that you don't have to rent a tent even with tables and chairs, a major benefit and money saver! In the event of rain, you can use the barn as a ceremony and reception space.

  • Unique barn setting

Getting married at the Stevens Estate was the best decision we made! The venue is absolutely beautiful, but the best part of the entire experience was working with Helen! Helen made the planning process so easy for us. She is so great to work with and so detail orientated. She brought all of our visions to life and made sure everything went according to plan. She created back up plans in case of unexpected events such as rain and really thought through everything. On the day of, we really had no stress because of the work Helen and her team put in. We had a unique wedding ceremony where we had a traditional ceremony followed immediately by a Persian ceremony, and Helen made sure everything followed our customized timeline. She even personally oversaw all of the Persian Ceremony decorations/set up to ensure our valuable items were set up perfectly and packed up safely. In addition to Helen, we also had a lot of other people with Stevens Estate who made sure our day was perfect. One was our day-of wedding attendant who was so attentive! She went out of her way to make sure my husband and I were getting everything we needed on the day of. If you want a beautiful wedding venue with an incredible team and amazing food we can’t recommend Stevens Estate enough. We were so present and stress-free on the day of our wedding and that is all thanks to Helen and her team! (Photos are by Justs Photography)

I was a floral designer providing centerpieces for a baby shower held there last fall (2023), in the Phillips Room. My experience as a vendor there was great. The venue was immaculate and modern inside, with the classic New England charm and vibe. The staff could not have been more helpful. They helped me with load-in, and the setup people were friendly and efficient. The coordinator Linda was also friendly, professional and on top of all the many details for the event (food, drinks, balloons, florals, favors, etc.). The room was light and airy, with lots of windows and light. The neutral background would work for almost any color palette. It is a beautiful venue in a classic New England setting, and I highly recommend it!

I cannot say enough positive things about the Rosewood Country Inn as a wedding venue. This venue is special in that you get the entire 11-room inn for the weekend (Fri-Sun), and so we were able to have our closest friends and family staying with us, which was a blast! The inn offers a beautiful country setting on the outside that is perfect for an outdoor ceremony. We held ours at the gazebo in the courtyard, which was surrounded by beautiful trees and scenery that make for gorgeous pictures. The dining hall of the inn hosts the reception, and is perfect for an intimate and stylish dining experience that then morphs a dance floor! The food is excellent (Stan's stuffed french toast can't be missed), not only for the reception but the rehearsal dinner and breakfasts on Sat and Sun. Stan and Odo are extremely kind and gracious hosts, who let us make our wedding truly our own!

He summered here with his first wife, Mabel Cabot Sedgwick, an accomplished horticulturist, gardener, and author of The Garden Month by Month, and his second wife, Marjorie Russell Sedgwick, a rare plants specialist—both of whom created a delightful, enchanting landscape, surrounded by more than 100 acres of woodland. Today, visitors delight in the beauty of Long Hill’s structured and naturalistic gardens as well as a network of woodland trails. A diverse collection of trees, shrubs, and distinctive perennial plants provide color during the growing season, peaking in May and June and providing structure and beauty throughout the year.

  • Exudes old-world charm
  • Natural elegance with open spaces

From the moment we first reached out to the team at Long Hill, their communication was fast, helpful, hands-on and incredibly kind. They truly went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was like something out of a fairytale. The venue itself was a picturesque garden, with an ethereal, storybook feel that made our special day feel like it was straight out of a dream. The staff helped us navigate all the timing and logistics, and were especially thoughtful in how they handled the dynamics of our large, blended family. Helena, the event coordinator, was a true gem - she provided invaluable guidance on the floor plans and decor that helped bring our vision to life. From start to finish, the Long Hill team made our wedding day perfect, and I would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a truly magical experience.

The 2500 square foot barn is renovated to perfection with classy gold lighting features, a built in bar and large picture windows. Just outside the barn is ample land for a beautiful ceremony set up, an outdoor patio for cocktail hour and a covered pavilion. There is a great security in knowing you have a rain plan here. • Raw space for complete customization
  • Unique barn setting

Venue considerations

  • Does not provide event staff
  • Lighting and sound are not included
  • Couple must handle cleanup and setup
While my husband and I didn't get married at Milliken Manor, we had the pleasure of working with Kristen and Blackwater Events for our wedding in November 2025. It was an absolute joy to work with her from Day 1. She took every wish on our wishlist and made it a reality. She coordinated a "bouquet-making station" for me and my bridesmaids and created a timeline that maximized dancing for the guests. She pulled off a Chipotle dinner buffet that my husband thought was only a pipe dream (and even made it "upscale" enough to please my mother). Last but certainly not least, she somehow got my dad excited about the planning process and navigated family dynamics like a saint. If I had it to do all over again, it would certainly be with Kristen - and this time at Milliken Manor!

We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding at Olio in Peabody! Sarah, the venue owner and owner of Without a Hitch, was great — responsive, attentive, and dedicated to ensuring every detail of our day was perfect. The venue itself was beautiful and modern, featuring historic hardwood floors and tall windows that added character and warmth to the space. The high ceilings and acoustics made our band sound SO good - everyone was dancing all night! The string lighting and complimentary up-lighting created a festive holiday vibe that our guests loved. A La Carte Catering and Premier Bar Service did an amazing job, providing signature drinks, tasty passed appetizers, and food stations in a way that encouraged mingling. My now wife and I were searching high and low for a wedding venue that would be something different than the typical wedding cookie cutter experience. We wanted a venue that was like no other and that our family and friends fell in love with. We came across The Bell Inn and it was truly the greatest find. The beautifully restored historical property locally located in a beautiful north shore city was truly a gem to find. The inn is so picturesque and also located steps away from downtown Peabody which provided even more beautiful backgrounds for photographs. As if the gorgeous property that photographs beautifully wasn’t enough, the food is superb, and the staff is incredibly accommodating, kind and go above and beyond. Every request and inquiry we made was met with a smile that exceeded my wife and I’s expectations. The moment we walked through the door we knew that this was the place we wanted to get married at. It is truly the perfect venue because it is one stop shop. My wife and I checked in on Friday afternoon to one of the ten picturesque suites. Each suite was meticulously clean and beautifully decorated which paid homage to the history of the building. We had our delicious rehearsal dinner which all of the guests raved about. We then enjoyed our dream wedding in the outdoor courtyard, with a menu my wife and I hand picked with the Inn manager’s help. Shout out to Heather who is simply the best! To finish the evening we were able to host our after party in the speakeasy. The next morning we had a delicious brunch to end the dream weekend. Everyone has not stoped talking about our wedding, including us. The rooms, the tavern, the courtyard, the speakeasy, are all the space you need! We love the Bell Inn and can’t wait to return for date nights, anniversaries, and to one day bring our children. The Bell Inn isn’t a place to us they became a family.

I attended a wedding vow renewal at/in Black Craft Salem's haunt. We all walked down the "aisle" which was the actual haunt. We followed the "bride and groom" throughout the haunt to the very end where the actual ceremony took place. There were beautiful glowing candles everywhere and the lighting was perfect. The BCS crew was very nice and made us all feel welcomed. I have NEVER been to a ceremony as thrilling, fun and terrifyingly beautiful as this one. I could not get over the atmosphere it was McCabe and, exciting and eerie at the same time.... I felt like I was on a movie set. . EVERYONE who loves Halloween, horror and haunts in general needs to have every type of ceremony in this venue - NOT just weddings and vow renewals. BORAH! was the officiant and was the funniest thing ever, she roasted the couple and made us laugh so hard we neven shed a few tears. Thank you BCS for hosting such a remarkable space for this ceremony. I will be booking my wedding at Black Craft if I ever decide to tie the knot.
