When you decide to celebrate your wedding with us, you will have a 823-acre property, 25 acre private lake, 20 miles of private hiking and biking trails, the athletic fields and all camp buildings exclusively available to you and your guests, you also have the beauty and majesty of the Adirondack Park surrounding you. Located an hour north of Albany and just a 10 minute drive from either the south or north exit on I-87 we are perfectly located for your guests to find but also hidden away at the end of a private road, giving you a secluded, private experience. Plus you have the opportunity to design how you will spend your time on the property.

A wedding at Hildene is about more than being at one of Vermont’s most beautiful places. You and your guests deserve an authentic Vermont experience and you will begin that experience by walking through The Lincoln Family Home to your wedding ceremony in our historic formal garden. From high on a promontory, you look out to the Taconic Mountains to the west and the Green Mountains to the east, with stunning views of rolling fields and the famed Battenkill River Valley 300 feet below. Your guests will be treated to beautifully prepared fresh local food. Some ingredients will even have been grown at Hildene Farm. Over our many years here, we've restored both the building and it's surroundings. From rebuilding the hundred foot long wrap-around porch, reclaiming long abandoned gardens and planting new ones, we've created a private secluded setting available to share with you all of life's celebrations.

When booking a wedding or special event with us you not only get the ceremonial and event grounds, but you also get to choose from treehouses, earth homes, A-frame, Yurts and other unique rentals of your choice all included for an unforgettable wedding destination for you and your guests! We are a small resort just one mile north of Lake George Village. We have a beautiful wooded ceremony site and a reception site right next to the ceremony site.
