“Seven ponds was an absolute dream for our wedding. The location itself is breathtaking and gorgeous. To The mountains, the ponds, the farm animals to the tasteful decorations, us and our guests were blown away by the beauty of this venue. Beyond being beautiful, the team at seven ponds farm were incredible. The team is really there for you the whole weekend and to help ensure your wedding is a success. We had several older guests in need of help, and they were driven by a golf cart around the venue which was extremely helpful. The food and drinks were amazing, our guests are still raving about the food. And Maria, was amazing. Our wedding was amazing, and our vision came true, and we couldn’t have done it without the support and help from the team here at seven ponds. “Everyone at Holiday Inn was amazing. Everything I wanted for my wedding was done and was perfect. The decor was amazing, the food was great, and the layout of the room was great. All my guests were able to see the dance floor from their seats. There was also a discount for guests staying at the hotel. I had many complements from my guests about the reception as well. The price was low considering the location is in downtown Saratoga Springs. The hotel has a staircase in the back that leads to Congress Park for beautiful pictures. It is also within walking distance to many churches along Broadway. My night was amazing! Thanks to all at the Holiday Inn.”

“We feel so lucky to have found the West Mountain Inn for our wedding. We first visited about a year before our wedding and immediately felt like it would be the perfect place for our special day. We were greeted by the resident golden retrievers, who followed us on our tour. If you’re a dog lover, you’ll be very happy with this venue! But really, it was Amie, Mary Beth and the rest of the staff who sold us. We immediately felt like they cared about making your day as perfect as possible for us, which was very welcome after touring other venues which felt like they wanted to squeeze every penny from us. After we decided on the venue, Amie was so willing to work with people like us who wanted to plan every detail possible. Amie answered all of my questions and sent additional information like floor plans so I could plan who was assigned to each room as soon as possible. Her communication over email was so incredible helpful! We absolutely loved that we could have so many guests staying at the inn and knew that would be perfect for our winter wedding. Next came our tasting, which was such a fun event. There are two tastings a year, both in March (though I think you could have a private tasting if you need). We loved being able to stay at the inn for a night and meet all of the other couples getting married here within the year. As our wedding was in February, we had to wait a long time between the tasting and trying the food again, and it absolutely didn’t disappoint! Chef Jeff did an amazing job with our welcome party, breakfast and lunch the day of the wedding, the absolutely amazing wedding dinner (and late night snacks), and brunch the next morning! We heard that most couples have a hard time eating during their weddings, but we cleaned our plates! Definitely try the butternut squash ravioli, it is incredible! We had our ceremony in the barn, then moved to the bar in the inn for cocktail hour, then dinner in the dining room, and dancing in the living room. They take out the big pieces of living room furniture and move some chairs to the side for dancing. A lot of my family was skeptical about that, but the inn knows what they’re doing!! The dance floor was plenty big for our party of 60 (and I’m sure it could have accommodate larger groups), and the chairs on the sides were a huge hit! It was incredible to be able to sit down for a minute and still feel like you’re a part of the party. I know a lot of our guests enjoyed that as well. We got ready in the Norman Rockwell suite, which worked out well since we had a small bridal party. We also loved getting to see all the rooms in the inn - every room is thought out so well and has little details that are so fun to find! We thought the inn was what made our wedding weekend so magical and cannot wait to visit again on anniversaries or other special occasions. But here, they make it clear: this place is yours for the weekend. You feel at home—but in the coolest home imaginable. Your guests can freely explore, adding to an unforgettable experience. Seamless Layout & Guest Comfort The layout is flawless. From the bridal suite, I watched the ceremony setup unfold and saw guests trickling in. Everything is steps away—the farthest guest room is under a two-minute walk to the ceremony. From there, it's a short, scenic stroll to the terrace and tent for the reception, all set against gorgeous marble architecture. One overlooked wedding detail? Bathrooms. The mansion has elegant restrooms nearby, and with guests staying on-site, they could use their rooms—so no bathroom lines! Need to grab a jacket, touch up makeup, or charge your phone? You can do so without missing a thing. If you have a dog, it's easy to check on them—or even bring them back to the dance floor (our guests did!). Incredible Food Choosing a caterer can be nerve-wracking, but the Wilburton’s food is exceptional. If you tried every caterer in the country, this would still be #1. Fresh, local, and plentiful—they do not skimp. The hardest part was picking appetizers and entrées because we loved them all! Their wedding tasting event is genius. It’s set up like a real wedding—cocktail hour with appetizers, a seated dinner with entrée samples, and drinks to try. You also meet other couples, swap planning tips, and experience the top-notch service firsthand. World-Class Service & Staff The Wilburton’s team is extraordinary—polished, professional, and genuinely invested in your day. A perfect example: an hour before the tasting event, I realized I forgot to RSVP for my plus one. I let a waiter know, expecting chaos. Instead, they discreetly rearranged seating, added food, and learned my guest’s name—all without anyone noticing. Seamless. The Heart of the Wilburton: The People Beyond the breathtaking venue and amazing food, the best part of the Wilburton is the people. They are transparent, organized, and truly want you to have the best day of your life. A special shoutout to Meesha, who made wedding planning effortless. She was incredibly responsive, unbelievably organized, and guided us through everything. I had zero worries on my wedding day because I knew Meesha had it handled. That level of trust is priceless. Final Thoughts I don’t know any other brides who felt this relaxed and confident on their wedding day. That alone is a reason to book the Wilburton. If you’re considering it—DO IT. You won’t find a more stunning, welcoming, or well-run venue anywhere.”

“Today is our three month wedding anniversary and we are still talking about how perfect our wedding was, with a huge part of that due to The Hermitage Inn. The team at The Hermitage made the entire process easy, calming and fun and made the weekend lovely, memorable and perfect. Gina was with us from moment one and was a constant professional who was warm, non-judgemental and available whenever needed. She made sure the day of went on without a hitch and took care of all the big and small details, making sure we didn’t need to worry about anything. I was very specific about wanting to start hair and make up later in the day and Gina adjusted the schedule and made sure I had my morning to myself. During the weekend Mercer, Jan, Sarah, Katia and so many others, along with Gina, made it the best weekend with all of our guests saying the same thing. From the rehearsal dinner, breakfasts in the morning, bar service and, of course, the big event, it was all excellent, personal and thoughtful. Location and venue wise The Hermitage was again, perfect. The property and inn are beautiful, luxurious and luscious. It was incredible to have the entire inn to ourselves with our closest family and friends. The carriage house was a perfect home base to not only get ready in but to have drinks at and to have a little welcome event for just those staying at the inn on Thursday night. I have pictures of my parents and aunts and uncles sitting on the porch telling stories which I will cherish forever. The grounds were beautiful for the wedding and even though the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were at the same venue- each part of the weekend felt unique and intentional as the venue offers so many options. Its been fun to look at the other weddings that have happened since ours on Instagram because not one of them have looked similar. That must be the magic of The Hermitage Inn and Gina, as they truly allow you to bring your own wedding to life. Can’t wait to come back for a weekend and reminisce.
