“JJ did such a fantastic job at our wedding this June! 3 things really stood out about him! 1) Attentive JJ Really paid attention to what I wanted our wedding day and reception to look like. Everything went so smoothly on the day of because he had really paid attention and gone over every detail of the timeline I had typed up. He was so fun and energetic and really got the party going! He customized our playlist too so that all my favorite songs got played at the wedding. 2) Professional Even though he is definitely fun and outgoing, he was very professional in all his text messages and emails and phone calls. He is very personable and friendly, but sticks to what needs to be accomplished. I really appreciated that. 3) Available JJ gave me his cell phone number and email address. Historically, we’ve found wedding DJs to be subpar. Between the poor choice in songs and the lack of beat matching ability, we‘ve always had critiques about the DJs when we attend weddings. From the initial consultation to the wedding day itself, DJ Neema was dedication to making the musical experience authentic and meaningful. Initially, we interviewed two DJs and DJ Neema stood out with his impeccable mix that seamlessly blended our eclectic music tastes, from Houston rap to Bollywood hits. On the wedding day, he worked his magic, keeping the dance floor alive the entire time — keep in mind that this was a daytime and a completely dry wedding! His ability to read the crowd and curate the perfect vibe for the event was truly impressive. We requested a mix of well-known party-starters but noting too basic or over-played. He came with sophisticated remixes of old faves and served up some great 90's throwbacks as well. He then transitioned toward more contemporary dance music territory which setup our headlining DJ perfectly. Davey is anything but a basic wedding DJ with lame tunes and a cheap tux. If you're looking for someone who really gets it, is a breeze to work with, and honestly cares about your big event- you've found the one.”

From our first conversation with him, we knew he had the "vibe" we were looking for. My husband is very into metal music but since that is not exactly dance music for most people, we decided to play instrumental covers of metal songs during cocktail hour and dinner, which was so fun! (And we got so many compliments!). We completed his questionnaire and had an in-depth consultation with him beforehand so he knew exactly what we wanted, and he really delivered in every single way. We had a few unique requests that he nailed, like having a mini pop punk segment, and playing a shortened version of our first dance song (Metallica's Nothing Else Matters), but also told him we wanted "Millennial Bangers" and lots of songs to dance along to. There was truly not a single dud - every song was a hit. He did both the ceremony and reception music for us at the Hummingbird House and the ceremony music/audio was also wonderful.
