The quality of her work is simply gorgeous and she managed to make us look much cooler than we really are! She captured all the candid moments we had hoped for, and we were amazed at how quickly she got through our posed photos so we could just enjoy the rest of our wedding day. My dad even commented, "Wow, I don't know when you guys had time to get all of these!" after seeing the gallery. We also had a laundry list of family/wedding party pairings and we got through them all promptly after the ceremony, without a ton of fuss, which is exactly as we'd requested. She pulled us aside after dinner when the sun was at the perfect height to get a few more photos, and they're some of my favorites despite only taking us away from the party for about 5 minutes. The preview gallery came SO fast (I believe it was within a day or two) and the pics were just amazing. She was so accommodating of anything we wanted to do, and also had suggestions whenever we weren't sure what we wanted. I also requested to get a couple photos before our final gallery was done so that my mom could use them for Christmas cards and she was so accommodating of that request and sent them right away. He helped us with posing when we needed it (thank you for making us look like we knew what we were doing!), but also just let us be ourselves, which resulted in the most natural, beautiful photos. He totally captured the vibe of our day, especially the reception. The energy, the laughter, the dancing—everything was perfectly documented. I grew up in South Florida and moved to Boston in 2007 to attend Emerson College. While photographing punk rock bands as a hobby I fell into wedding photography. My business grew from there and I never looked back. By the time I graduated I was able to do wedding photography full time and I’ve spent the past decade photographing weddings all over New England, the US, and the world. “Shukhrat Kamalov was a standout HIT. Our guests felt like absolute celebs! We didn't want the standard photobooth as it can come off a little too cheesy for my tastes. And since we were asking all of our guests to come dressed in their best, we decided it was only appropriate they also get their own designated photographer. Shukhrat took his time with each of our guest's photo sessions, directing them and taking multiple shots until our guests loved what he captured. AND he printed them out so our guests had something to bring home. All of our guests told us that these photos would be framed in their home . THEY WERE THAT GOOD.”
