This package is enough to cover the very end of getting ready up until the big moments during your reception like speeches and first dances! Emma was truly amazing - she is friendly, responsive and captured beautiful photos. For both our engagement session and the wedding day, she made us comfortable in front of the camera and really enjoy the photo process, which is something my husband and I were not expecting at all! Emma Melin Studios was a fantastic choice for my wedding photography. As a creative person, I had a specific vision for photos: I wanted cinematic, editorial, unconventional photos and no B.S.. Emma's strong artistic POV enhanced my vision. Her photos are reminiscent of my favorite filmmakers like Sofia Coppola but completely unique. Emma's communication style was casual and concise, making the process from planning to actually taking the photos seamless. Emma happily worked with our unconventional plan and tight timeline (held a reception a couple of months after a civil ceremony all within 9 months of getting engaged). At all events, Emma's approach with us, our families, and friends was thoughtful and playful, making everyone comfortable in front of the camera. The final photos from all of our sessions are truly breathtaking. They captured the joy and intimacy of our celebration in a way that exceeded my wildest expectations, which I cannot emphasize enough were very high. If you're considering booking Emma Melin, just do it. I honestly want to have another wedding so I can have more photos. I have never liked the way I've looked in photos, but Emma captured me in a way I love.

I am based in New York City. Domestic travel in included in the all-inclusive package. For more about travel, please message me!

I have a handful of trusted second shooters who shoot with me. I select them based on their experience, skill level, and personality. I also make sure my second shooters pair well with my couples!

I do not as it isn’t an accurate representation of my work! My turnaround time is 6-8 weeks after your wedding date. You will also receive a handful of previews 1-3 days after your wedding!

If that happens, which I hope it never does, I will find a trusted associate to fill in for me. The entire process would be the same, just a different face to capture your big day!

I shoot on two Sony A7iii's. I own all Sony prime lenses including a 35mm, 55mm, and 85mm. My cameras are mirrorless and have duel card slots. This means that I automatically have a back-up of your wedding images!

My team and I shoot all weddings using duel-card slots. This ensures we have a second copy of your day in case a card goes corrupt. As soon as I get home I back up your day on two hard drives. I do not clear your wedding from my SD card until your gallery is delivered. I keep a copy of your RAW files on one of my hard drive for 6 months after your gallery delivery.

I would describe my style as warm, candid imagery with an editorial flare. While I capture a variety of traditional wedding images, your gallery will also be filled with non-traditional imagery.

After our consultation, I will send you a customized project proposal. Your 30% non-refundable retainer and signed contract are due within 3 days. Once this is completed, your date is officially booked!

She is kind, funny, down to earth and genuinely made our wedding process and day a million times better. All of our family and friends were blown away by Emma and her second shooter, Andrea.
