What do you imagine your wedding to be like? Imagination is a nice gift we have. It helps us building our identities and shaping our individual uniqueness. Imagining carries a degree of anticipation, depending on our past experiences and who we are, of how something that hasn't happened yet is going to be when it actually happens. Like traveling to a place where we've never been before and we take photos of its landscapes and people living there: we tend to capture in those photographs how we had imagined that place. Before I ever held a camera, as a kid I was obsessed with organizing and reorganizing printed family snapshots in albums. This infatuation with captured moments, led to picking out my first film camera, a 35mm Pentax, film developing and darkroom printing in high school, and then my BFA in Photography Degree. From there, I worked in varied sectors of photography, but my true passion lay in documentary work that could bring about awareness of challenging global situations. I have published and exhibited journalistic series internationally, notably at Oxford University and Aperture Foundation.
