Before I ever held a camera, as a kid I was obsessed with organizing and reorganizing printed family snapshots in albums. This infatuation with captured moments, led to picking out my first film camera, a 35mm Pentax, film developing and darkroom printing in high school, and then my BFA in Photography Degree. From there, I worked in varied sectors of photography, but my true passion lay in documentary work that could bring about awareness of challenging global situations. I have published and exhibited journalistic series internationally, notably at Oxford University and Aperture Foundation.

Hi, I’m Yosaidy your hype woman, storyteller, and third wheel with a camera. I’m a Venezuelan photographer and graphic designer, currently based in New York (but always down to travel). I’ve been in the U.S. since 2016, but I actually started shooting weddings back in Venezuela when I was just 18.
