Wellington is a great venue for any wedding. Highly recommend. The location is absolutely beautiful and was already slightly decorated for our Christmas wedding by having a lot of Christmas trees up and decorated. Tina is also extremely sweet and easy to work with. She also attended our wedding and got some amazing extra pics and videos as well.

From the moment we first visited Brenwood Lake Weddings, we were captivated by its beauty. Nestled in the stunning Shenandoah region with a picturesque lake as its centerpiece, this venue offers a serene and magical backdrop for any couple's big day. But it wasn’t just the location that won us over. The beautifully constructed reception building was not only visually appealing but was also well-maintained and equipped with all the necessary amenities. Every corner of the property echoed the dedication and meticulous care of its owners, Brenda and Lynwood. Brenda and Lynwood's exceptional communication stood out throughout our journey. Their responsiveness to our questions and concerns was always timely, and their assistance in coordinating our wedding ceremony made the planning process seamless. One particularly memorable moment was when Lynwood, despite the rain, skillfully got a fire started for our fire ceremony, ensuring that even Mother Nature couldn’t dampen our special ritual. Adding to the allure of Brenwood Lake Weddings were the beautiful two cabins on the property. Conveniently located in close proximity to the main venue, these cabins were immaculate and provided a perfect staging area for us to prepare for our big day. It's evident that Brenda and Lynwood put their heart and soul into every aspect of Brenwood Lake Weddings. Their genuine passion for their work ensures that couples can truly experience their dream wedding. One of the most admirable aspects of our experience was the personal touch Brenda and Lynwood added to every interaction. Their guidance, combined with the venue's natural splendor, truly made our wedding day an unforgettable one. We were so lucky to have chosen Montfair as our wedding venue. From the first time we stepped foot on the grounds, met the staff in the welcome cabin, and took a look at the critters, trees, lake, mountains views, we knew we wanted to get married here. It is a truly unique wedding venue outside Charlottesville - convenient to hotels and Airbnbs (everyone stayed within 30 mins), disconnected from city chaos, and with enough cabins to house most of your close friends (family members may opt for more luxurious stays). The Montfair team went above and beyond to help us add DIY elements to our wedding and create the atmosphere for guests that we wanted. We were able to stay by the fire until close to midnight on Friday and they lit a fire for us on Saturday too but people were too busy dancing to enjoy it! This venue is so genuinely beautiful on its own that you don't have to dress it up much or add to much more to it. Thank you for such a spectacular weekend and lifelong memories!

My husband and I loved our experience with VRV as our wedding venue. From the jump, we loved meeting with Barbara. The day we went venue shopping, we had a number of experiences in the area where we just felt like a number and they truly didn't care about us or getting our business. Barbara was genuinely interested in getting to know us as a couple and we felt cared for and valued. In an area where the wedding industry can be a machine, we felt like people - and more than that, family. The wedding itself was intimate, accommodating, scenic, and everything we would have wanted. Barbara was amazing to work with, as we figured she would be from our amazing first meeting. We really appreciate her for being flexible and accommodating as plans came together and changed leading up to the wedding. In an industry of potentially flakey vendors, VRV/Barbara were extremely helpful in being the glue to hold everything together and keep things moving forward. I also want to give a big shout out to Ben who was the lead organizer for the venue on the wedding day and he was terrific; our grandmas, who needed to be escorted around via golf cart at times, seemed to have the best time and had a constant smile on their face in Ben's company. I also must mention the pure beauty of the venue. My husband and I got married in late October and the trees could not have been more beautiful. The site of the ceremony was stunninh with the mountain backdrop and the barn had a magical feel in the Fall as it turned from day to night. Also the opportunity for the couple to go up to the top of the mountain for pictures was every bit as awesome as I thought it would be. Overall, if I could give the venue 10 stars here, I would. Could not recommend enough
