“I went into wedding planning knowing that, aside from my venue, my photographer was going to be the most important vendor decision for me. The way I see it, after the day is done and the bouquets have wilted, the only thing I have left to remember the magic of the day is photos. I wanted them to be great and I wanted a photographer who would add to the day instead of just photograph it. Tim did that. I looked through maybe 30 different photographers' galleries and met with maybe 10 before finding Tim and knew from our first conversation that I'd found our photographer. And I am so very pleased that Tim was part of our day. Every step of the way, Tim was wonderful to work with. He answered every question I had and shared ideas leading up to the day. He was super pleasant, knowledgeable, and obviously devoted to his craft. He was communicative and helpful in thinking about parts of the day that I initially hadn't even considered. On the actual wedding day, Tim was legitimately a huge part of keeping things on track and fun. Multiple people in our wedding party stopped me throughout the day to tell me how awesome and efficient he was and he honestly kept me laughing through most of the early part of the day. I can honestly say I wasn't too stressed that morning and Tim helped create that atmosphere for me and my bridal party. Even my matron of honor, who is also a wedding photographer herself, applauded my decision in working with Tim and spoke about how quick, calm, helpful and thoughtful he was. And my sister thinks he's basically magic because he pulled a makeup light out of nowhere when she wanted to check the makeup she'd done for me and handed another girl tiny scissors when she needed to trim hanger straps off her dress. The sneak peeks I've gotten from our gallery have me so excited to see everything Tim captured and I know I'm going to be looking back on his photos for years to come. They'll help me relive one of the happiest days of my life and I'm so grateful for that. Were I planning this wedding again, I'd hire Tim again in a heartbeat. For the photos and for the unique energy he brought for the day, he was perfect for us!”

“We just received our photos back from our wedding about a month ago, and we were blown away. We had a feeling the photos would be wonderful because of how professional and attentive our photographer (Athel) was, but of course there is always still that suspense. The team at Indigo and Ivory was wonderful throughout the entire process, always communicative, and it felt like they really cared. Athel even drove a good distance to attend an open house with us at our venue, to get some ideas ahead of time around what settings would be best. He was lovely throughout the whole event, super accommodating of our special requests, and captured all the most important moments. We cannot recommend them enough, the images came out amazing and we are getting tons of compliments! If there is anything I would do differently (and this is not any knock on Indigo and Ivory, this is just general advice for anyone looking to hire any photographer), I probably would have went ahead and added a second photographer for the day (which is something they offer). I wanted to cut costs a bit so we didn't go for it - but of course if you have two you will make sure to get all the different angles you are hoping for and then each person can spend a bit more time with both wedding parties to capture more of those candid moments. I also wish I had made sure to put together a better list of shots that I wanted - once again, these are items that I recommend in general and has nothing to do with Indigo and Ivory. If there are certain things you want your photographer to capture, make sure to write them down and communicate! With all that being said, even if you go with just one photographer and you happen to forget to write down all the specific moments or you just want things to be more free-flow - I 100% recommend Indigo and Ivory for you! They are wonderful and I'm so happy we have these gorgeous images to treasure for years to come.”

“My fiance and I had the opportunity to do our engagement shoot with Julia and we could not be happier with the experience and the results! Before the shoot, we were able to communicate easily with her over text and send ideas to her that she did her best to incorporate into the shoot. I was initially nervous because it was the first time we were taking official photos for the wedding and being in front of the camera is not something I’m very used to. From the minute we met up for the shoot, Julia’s presence and energy immediately put me at ease. She is bubbly, funny and fantastic at giving direction without actually posing you so it just felt like we were on a date and having fun. The pictures she captured truly portray the nature of our relationship as a couple and were exactly what we were envisioning! Hey, I’m Lindsay! I first picked up a DSLR camera in 2009 as a Sophomore in high school, I was so naturally drawn to photography from the very beginning, and that desire to continue something that I was passionate about propelled me into attending and graduating from the New Hampshire Institute of Art in 2015 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Photography and Printmaking. Born and raised in New England, I now reside in Goffstown,NH + when I'm not out and about with my camera, I can be found spending time outdoors, reading a good historical fiction book + spending quality time hanging out with my husband, our two daughters, pup and cats!

“We cannot say enough wonderful things about J&J photography! We hired Jodie and Jeremy for our wedding last September (2021) in New Hampshire and could not have been more pleased! From our initial consult meeting over FaceTime (due to pandemic restrictions), we were more than confident that they were the right fit for our wedding. They brought a sense of calmness and professionalism to an exciting/hectic day, which we very much appreciated! My husband and I are not the best at serious or structured shoots, but J&J were so helpful and made us feel so comfortable posing all while keeping things natural.... the photographs they captured were unbelievably stunning! Of course, as the bride I was running very late to the venue from my hair/makeup, J&J were both totally set up at the venue, ready to get us back on track with timing without missing ANY photos that we requested on our big day. Jodie even doubled as a quick hair dresser to make a much needed fix to my updo! Receiving our final edited online album was an an absolute GIFT, we were able to sit back and relive each moment (with many tears and laughter!) that they captured so perfectly on our wedding day!! We would highly recommend this talented duo for any occasion, big or small!!”
