It was important to us that the day felt authentic, emotional, and full of movement. And, just to make it more fun, ours was a Halloween wedding. “Shukhrat and his wife Rachel just shot our June 8th wedding and we couldn't be happier. They were amazing to work with and the photos are phenomenal! About the pictures: Shukhrat is versatile and very skilled. When we took our engagement photos he provided us with various styles of photos and editing, and then used our feedback to guide the photos he took at our wedding. He is also flexible. We got married in a city park and there were wayyyy more people in the park than we were expecting at 6:00pm at night. Without missing any of the candid details or true-to-life colors that we wanted, Shukhrat was able to frame the photos and/or alter the lighting so that the park goers were barely visible in the background. Both Shukhrat and Rachel are also very skilled at giving direction when needed, but letting you do your own thing the rest of the time. Neither my husband nor I have a lot of experience in front of a camera—they gave us enough direction to feel confident, without making us feel stifled or overly posed. We wanted photos that felt organic and genuine, and they were really able to capture that. Working with Shukhrat and Rachel: The two of them were a dream to work with. Incredibly professional--very communicative, punctual, quick turnaround time on photos. And they are also just lovely people. While in the process of picking a photographer, Laura and I chatted over Zoom and I was pleasantly surprised with how easy Laura was to talk to, as well as how organized she seemed with her planning. Leading up to the wedding Laura was very communicative and answered all my questions immediately. The day of the wedding she arrived right on time and was incredibly organized. Her second photographer, Bia, was also a pleasure to work with. She was professional and fun- the kids in our wedding party loved Bia and she was able to capture amazing pictures. My fiance and I were somewhat dreading all the group photos that a wedding entails, however Laura ran this process so smoothly we actually had fun taking the photos! We were blown away with the end results. The photos came out absolutely beautiful. Laura captured all the feelings of our special day in every one of her photos. We also received SO many photographs- quite impressive considering I barely even noticed Laura taking pictures while I was so wrapped up in the day. I started photographing weddings in 2017. I originally got my first camera to photograph landscapes- National Parks specifically. But the second the camera was in my hands, I was immediately drawn to photographing connections between people. Since that moment I haven't hesitated while my heart led me in the direction of wedding and elopement photography! I love documenting the in-between, unprompted moments; the subtle way your partner glances over at you with a side smile when you're not paying attention, the groom fiddling with his new ring, and the uncontrollable laughter when you're melting into each other during your couple's photos.

“We had the pleasure of having Tammy shoot our engagement photos, as well as our entire wedding day. As many others have stated, we would highly recommend her for not only her gorgeous photos but for her relaxed and personable style. Throughout the entire process Tammy communicated with us to be sure she was giving us exactly what we were looking for in terms of style/structure. The day of our engagement shoot, we had unexpected weather but thankfully she was flexible and responsive in moving the time for our shoot to accommodate the unexpected rain. Despite the fact it was cold and rainy, she happily worked with us to get all (plus more) of the photos we were expecting. Between both our wedding and engagement shoots, Tammy did a fantastic job working in all of the ideas we had envisioned. We had to downsize our wedding and had plenty of unexpected restrictions due to Covid but Tammy continued to help support making our day special.
