Sam and her team helped box all the centerpieces and miscellaneous items while we were still enjoying the evening. This was a huge help and I was very thankful for the extra time that was freed up for us to spend with family and friends. There was a small hiccup with our food caterer and Sam quickly jumped in and solved the problem. I could not have asked for a more perfect day for my daughter, it was everything she dreamed of and we were all stress free thanks to Sam. I would HIGHLY recommend The Black Barn Event Planning. In late December 2009, I started working for an online bridal shop selling wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses, and accessories. The online side grew and quickly turned into a storefront and an online division. I was able to work hands-on with brides helping them feel beautiful and finding the perfect dress! In 2010 one of my good friends got married. She was expecting family to come in with speakers for the reception but found out a couple of hours beforehand that they weren't coming.

I knew when I got engaged, I wanted to hire a coordinator to help execute the wedding day. Michelle does so much more. “We hired Danielle to be our day of coordinator. Usually there are challenges with being in different states, but this experience was seamless. We had our first call about 6 months before our wedding. Another call we had with her closer to the wedding, we shared with her we were struggling to find bus transportation for our bridal party (we waited last minute) and she did her own research and came back with a couple vendors she recommended. One of the vendors she recommended we used. Additionally, Danielle came the day before to help set up our reception and stayed for rehearsal. We had a hiccup with our rentals and Danielle took it upon herself to take care of the situation so we could move forward with other things we had to get done before rehearsal. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and she executed everything well. Also, she was direct when necessary to keep our wild wedding party in line. My husband and I highly recommend her!”
