Now, our guests are still talking about how much fun they had dancing and singing along with the band all night. We loved the visuals with lighting, dancing, costume changes, and props. My husband and I couldn’t find time to leave the dance floor because their compilations just flow from one to the next. At first I thought our party would be too small for an 8-piece band at the reception, but they were the perfect addition to build up the crowd and keep everyone together on the dance floor. They even came into the crowd to sing and play instruments to stir up enthusiasm. My only regret was not having more time to chat with our guests for longer because we simply couldn’t peel ourselves off the dance floor. Tristan and Jeff are so responsive, and they were able to work with both me and my wedding coordinators directly to take some of the logistics off my plate. It was also very fun working with the band for all requests. They learned our first dance song so quickly and even sent me a sample of a shortened version of the song to practice to with my husband. “We had an amazing experience with The Hook Club for our wedding. Dan and his team were so easy to work with, and their 5-piece DJ band was the perfect, fun switch-up from a traditional band for our June wedding at Greenpoint Loft. We also had a ceremony guitarist and a saxophonist with tracks for the cocktail hour, which added great touches to the day. The uplights they brought for the room were priced very well and created a beautiful atmosphere. The music planning worksheet they provided was incredibly helpful, and they offered valuable advice on the timeline and flow of the reception, which was a huge help. They were fun to work with, and on the night of the wedding, they absolutely crushed it. The music was fantastic, they kept the vibes high, and their crowd engagement was excellent. We highly recommend The Hook Club for any event. They made our wedding unforgettable!”

Not only is Brian a great DJ, he's also a talented and personable business owner. He was very attentive to our specific desires for genres to play, and he has a great app platform that allowed us to select specific songs and fill out our preferences for various aspects of his role. This made the process very easy and organized. He also spent time to (last-minute) mix and cut our mismatched procession songs to blend them seamlessly, taking a potentially ugly transition and making it beautiful! Another great advantage to working with Brian is the way he prices. He gives you one price and is available for the entire event. He set up outside for us and allowed us to use his mics and sound equipment for our ceremony at no additional cost. This saved us a lot of money and simplified the planning process for us as he ironed out those details for us. I am so grateful to Brian.
