My husband and I couldn’t find time to leave the dance floor because their compilations just flow from one to the next. At first I thought our party would be too small for an 8-piece band at the reception, but they were the perfect addition to build up the crowd and keep everyone together on the dance floor. They even came into the crowd to sing and play instruments to stir up enthusiasm. My only regret was not having more time to chat with our guests for longer because we simply couldn’t peel ourselves off the dance floor. Tristan and Jeff are so responsive, and they were able to work with both me and my wedding coordinators directly to take some of the logistics off my plate. It was also very fun working with the band for all requests. They learned our first dance song so quickly and even sent me a sample of a shortened version of the song to practice to with my husband. “Living Jade was the best decision we made for our wedding vendors. They played at our engagement party in Santa Barbara and our actual wedding in San Francisco. Steve encountered an issue with a band member. The singer got sick the day before the wedding, but he found a replacement that was outstanding. His network of musicians allowed him to resolve a major issue. My husband and I were happy that our contract was respected. On top of that, the energy of the band was amazing on stage. We were so happy that our guests were all on the dance floor. I never sweat so much on a dance floor.”

As a die-hard music lover (and an unapologetically picky one), finding a DJ who would actually listen to what my husband and I wanted for our wedding felt like a challenge. I gave him a very specific "do not play" list and a handful of "must plays," and not only did he execute it flawlessly—he live mixed and multiple times I found myself running up to him screaming YES, YESSSS. I may or may not have threatened, "If you play the Cha Cha Slide, you're fired," and he took it very seriously. All jokes aside, we danced til 3 am, and he worked within our budget to create an elevated audio experience that we and our guests absolutely loved. My only regret? That he can't DJ my entire life so I'd actually be motivated to do my chores.”
