Genesis also provided mirror rounds and vases for our centerpieces. Dianna suggested the most popular menu items and helped with other decisions. She was well acquainted with our venue, which was very valuable. The food was as expected for wedding fare at this price point, and guests had positive reviews on the bartenders and appetizers. We picked Genesis because they were the lowest cost approved vendor for Top of the Town and felt like we got a great value. They let us bring in our own alcohol and provided great bar service (staff and mixers) at a reasonable price. There was never a line at the bar. Everything went smoothly on the wedding day, that we know of, and we’d recommend Genesis for someone looking at a caterer in this budget!”

From the initial tasting when we felt like royalty, to the dozen twists and turns to our order to get the price down to the wire, all the way through 11th hour changes to the rentals (changes, I might add, that Amanda had already foreseen!), we were so happy with our choice to go with Emma’s Torch. It was a cherry on top that they are a nonprofit with such a fantastic mission.”
