The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. My friend had him at her wedding a few years prior and highly recommended him, and I’m so glad we took her suggestion! Ed has a great DJ website where you can add all the songs you like, as well as which songs you don’t want to hear (which is very important for me). He then creates amazing mixes with the songs and knows how to keep the party going. I was really happy he was able to find our first dance song, which is from the 1940s and not easy to stream from just anywhere (thank you!!!). Our dance floor felt tailored to us, and the lights were so fun. He also did our introductions and gave the guests instructions when needed. If you’re on the fence about getting a DJ, book Edward Zaruba—he made our reception FUN!”

He was super understanding of our music indecisiveness and some last minute adjustments. Day of, he made sure he knew how to pronounce everyone's names and gave all the speakers a heads up so they weren't surprised when it was time for them to speak. He also took our Spotify playlist for the pre-ceremony/cocktail hour/dinner and broke it up and expanded it to fit the vibe for each of those. And, of course, he played music that kept people on the dance floor all night! Making sure we had the right DJ was a priority for me and I'm so relieved we ended up with Jeff!”

“Hiring Mike as our wedding DJ was one of the best decisions we made!! From our first meeting, Mike was professional and friendly, providing us with a lot of information and answering all of our questions. After we booked with him, he set up an easy-to-use app for us to select our songs, write notes about the reception, and communicate any special instructions. It helped us keep track of what to prepare and how to plan the timeline of our day since we didn't have a wedding planner. Mike also came to an in person meeting with our venue so he could be prepared for the wedding day, and he was completely set up and ready when we arrived for cocktail hour and dinner. The wedding day could not have gone better: not only was Mike on point with all the music choices we made, he created an excellent vibe for our guests. We had a lot of families with young adults and older parents, and Mike played music that appealed to both crowds. His emcee skills are excellent, and he was flexible with a few adjustments to the timeline throughout the night. Mike’s son JC worked our photobooth, and he was just as professional and friendly. His upbeat attitude and excitement for the day was well appreciated, and all of our guests were happy with their photobooth experiences. And during the dancing portion of our wedding, DJ Eric kept the energy up and kept our guests dancing!
