They were excellent at communicating and very quick at replying. They give you a user-friendly portal to customize your wedding music from when guests sit down before the wedding to the last song. They do a final run-through a week before the wedding to ensure everything is exactly how you want. They’re so friendly and accommodating the whole way through. Now, on our DJ & MC specifically... Ernest and Marlowe were rock stars. They communicated well with us the entire wedding, kept us in the loop with what was coming up, and were SO good at sticking to our preferred music and keeping guests on the dance floor. “Highly, highly recommend the Barnstorm for a wedding or any event. We hired them for our wedding the last weekend of September 2019 in Montauk, and they absolutely put the night over the top! First and foremost, they are a great band; not your typical “wedding band”. They aren’t cookie cutter (i.e. you won’t hear them playing the same songs that you hear at every wedding) and they certainly aren’t stiff. They vibe off each other and the room. They are legitimately having a fun time performing with each other and that permeates throughout the room. Everyone will be up dancing, singing, drinking, and sweating their butts off, and having a blast! What to expect: -Professionalism. Brooks responds promptly and covers all bases. No detail will be overlooked during the planning stages. Day of, they get to the venue well ahead of time to sound check and make sure everything is sounding perfect. During the event, they are great at providing direction and making sure everything runs smoothly. -Personalization and flexibility. The guys truly care about making the event as special as possible and are very open to any idea to bring the event over the top. In addition to our “special request” songs (which they nailed) the band was incredibly gracious at my request to join them onstage to “surprise” my wife and guests by playing a song along with them. It could not have gone over any better…my wife was thrilled and it absolutely brought the house down! -Party! They know what will get everyone up and moving. Their catalogue of songs is well over 200 and it includes all decades and genres. Multiple guests commented that they didn’t want to leave the dance floor to get dessert or go to the bathroom because every song was such an amazing jam. The Barnstorm is absolutely worth every penny. We knew they were the right band for our wedding the first moment we heard them at Hill Country, and we feel so lucky and grateful to the guys for playing our wedding. On top of it all, my wife, friends, and I get to continue to relive that night by seeing their gigs throughout NYC! We simply cannot say enough great things about The Barnstorm.”

“Wedding 11.10.2024 Where do we even begin?! Phil at All Generations was fantastic to work with leading up to our wedding, and we didn’t think it could get any better—until the big day! Our MC and DJ were absolutely the best we’ve ever seen at a wedding. While we might be a bit biased, our guests confirmed it, saying they’d "never seen such an empty room of tables because everyone was on the dance floor!" Guests couldn’t stop raving about how they couldn’t leave the dance floor and had endless compliments for both the DJ and MC. We had Mike as our MC, and while we don’t recall the DJ's name, he was phenomenal. I know some reviews mentioned DJs not playing requested songs, and while a few of our requests weren’t played, we’re actually so thankful for that. After all, we hired a DJ to read the room, not just follow a playlist—and he nailed it! Every song he played was exactly what the moment called for, keeping the energy high and the floor packed all night long. Every single track was a hit, and there wasn’t one moment where people stopped dancing. Truly, every song was a banger! We couldn’t be happier with the incredible vibe they created. Peter & the Master Keys is not only a great jazz band with vocals, it's also an energetic dance band specializing in the best soul, blues, and rock n' roll from the 50s and 60s plus a few more contemporary numbers to round out the set. Think Sinatra and Nat King Cole early in the night and then Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, Elvis and more later on. The idea is to play fun and energetic music that is timeless and can inspire guests of all ages to dance. We also perform as a trio and quartet for smaller occasions or cocktail parties. Packages include ceremony music, MC, jazz cocktail hour, and dance music.
