Major changes are happening in downtown Marshall as the long-vacant building at 112 N. Eagle Street transforms. The new Venue 19 Zero 9, named after Schuler’s founding year in 1909, will occupy the historic Dreamers Furniture store, blending Schuler’s legacy with modern elegance for weddings, corporate events, and special occasions. The venue will feature a reception room for 250 guests, intimate seating areas, bridal quarters, large restrooms, and three boutique hotel rooms. Schuler’s Restaurant will provide exclusive catering for exceptional culinary experiences.

The helpful staff can easily join the East, Oak, and West Rooms into a combination that best suits the desired needs and capacity. Before becoming an event space, this barn was a dairy barn on St. Patrick’s Farm. The inside has been renovated, but the original barn doors, windows, and silos remain. The Pfeil Pavilion – a large, open-air shelter behind the Red Barn, is included. This space is perfect for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, or even outdoor games. The Goodhew Gazebo is just a few steps away and is a popular spot to exchange vows. Other popular venues at St. Patrick's County Park include the Fragomeni Shelter, Covered Bridge/Grape Arbor, and/or the Manion Cabin. The Glenn Bauer Shelter and the STUDEBAKER trees at Bendix Woods County Park are popular for wedding ceremonies. Baugo Station at Ferrettie/Baugo Creek County Park is also a great option.

Chicory Event Center is a new renovated event space in downtown Mishawaka. It features a main banquet room with seating up to 250, a private dining room with seating up to 25, and a Chicory Cafe with an beautiful outside patio. From its historical beginnings as a stoic munitions depot, The Armory experienced a beautiful transformation to showcase a sophisticated ballroom, classy built-in bar and impressive commercial kitchen. Original element of the 1928 Armory construction and subsequent Newman Recreations Center were incorporated into the even space renovation to provide the perfect blend of past and present.Iron-barred doors used to secure armers and thick concrete walls reinforced with brick to accommodate the National Guard Armory and shooting range lend a rustic industrial aesthetic. Wood from the recreation center bleachers line the dramatic bar and the orginial hardwood floor was dressed up to grace the ballroom. The vaulted timber ceilings and exposed truss work allow the dazzling period chandeliers an opportunity to lend an air of elegance to the urban decor. Charm abounds in the union of classic architecture with a modern flair.

The Chapel at The Morris Estate (formerly Morris Farms) has been providing a breathtaking backdrop for weddings since 1938. E.M. Morris built The Chapel as the Centre Meeting House on his 1,000 acre farm in Niles, Michigan. It began as the setting for his daughter's wedding and has since hosted important events for both the Morris family and community. Although there have been renovations to add modern conveniences, the property's quaint atmosphere and rich heritage will continue to be maintained. The area surrounding The Chapel provides a lovely and convenient location for a reception after the ceremony.
