The first thing that impressed us was Justin’s app that we could easily load music into from Apple Music or Spotify and how organized it was for what songs we wanted and when they should be played (e.g. open dancing, cocktail hour, father daughter dance, dinner music, etc). Justin handled all of the audio for our wedding ceremony and has an amazing wireless, battery-operated set-up so there is no need to rely on a generator, which was great since we were outdoors on top of a mountain! He had a mic on the lapel of the groom and our officiant so that I, as the bride, did not have to worry about wearing one and between the two mics all of the ceremony audio (speech, vows, etc) was picked up flawlessly. At the reception, Justin had an awesome set up that looked super clean and modern but also had fun lighting to get the party going. He was an excellent MC for all of our big announcements and could perfectly read the crowd to keep the dance energy up. His wife, Lesley, was also wonderful as the photo booth attendant. I knew we would get copies of all the photos taken, but coming home with all the photos arranged in a guestbook signed by our guests was a nice touch! Highly recommend, they are a dream team.”

Jay checked in with us throughout the planning process (which for us was almost two years), offering advice and sending us outstanding vendor suggestions. We also had an in-depth planning call a few weeks before the wedding to go over the flow of the day and to decide on our music. “I had initially heard Mary perform at a wedding for a friend of mine and was blown away. So when I got engaged and was planning my wedding, she was a top contender to have perform for me as well. Right from the beginning I was totally impressed with her. Having never planned a wedding myself, she was very helpful in knowing and planning the flow of the day. I will also mention I live hours away from Mary and had to communicate primarily through e-mail, but she was extremely flexible, responsive, and easy to work with. The day of the wedding, it was a small, only 25 person, ceremony at the Denver Botanic Gardens where Mary played beforehand as people arrived, the whole music during the ceremony, and for a portion of the cocktail hour following the ceremony. During the cocktail hour I think all of the guests came up to me to either compliment her playing or ask where I found her. The next day even, everyone continued to be amazed by and comment on how awesome the music was. Her repertoire is huge, which helps to choose something more classic, contemporary, or just different. She can do it all and is even willing to learn new pieces if given enough time. I cannot give a higher recommendation for Mary. She is amazing!”

While at Lamont, Ms. Hunt was a finalist in the University’s concerto competition. She has studied under legendary harpists Ann Marie Liss, Grace Browning and Kathy Bundock-Moore and she regularly performs for orchestras including the Colorado Springs Philharmonic and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.

It added such an ethereal touch to our day. She is very professional and maintained good contact throughout even during her busy seasons.
