“The venue is beautiful, with a mix of historical charm and modern features (including the beautiful, renovated reception room) and the benefit of being 3 minutes from the lighthouse for pictures. But what made it really worth it, for us, is how much help with planning the team gave from day one. They helped keep us on track throughout the planning process, had a great team of partnered vendors that we could choose to work with (taking some of the decision burden off us), and were very clear about the entire timeline for the wedding day. Most importantly, this translated into a seamless and very organized wedding day experience. We didn’t have to worry about us, or our guests, having to “fix” things throughout the day as everything was taken care of. They were also one of the few venues that were willing to accommodate our very low guest count of 30 people. This venue may not be the right place for people who are foodies and expecting a 5-star meal, but the food was tasty and hot the day of and our guests seemed happy, so for the price, I’d say it was well worth it.”

“Booking Fall River Country Club for our wedding was the BEST decision we made. This venue is EVERYTHING and it was the most reasonably priced of all the venues we looked at. The view over the water is breathtaking and provided the best backdrop to our ceremony. We were also able to take beautiful pictures out on the course with the water in the background. The best part of our wedding was dancing outside under the tent all night. The DJ provided up lighting that lit up the tent to the music and it made the whole experience. We had a fire pit tended to all night as well for those that needed a quick break! I cannot stress enough how incredible the food is, especially the dessert which is all homemade by the chef!! They will even customize the menu for you! Lastly, their staff is unmatched. From day one we worked with Tammy to make all of our wishes for the day come true. Tammy is an outstanding coordinator and a total pro in this business. She was always so kind, calm, collected, and organized which is a bride’s dream! She went above and beyond for us and anytime I asked her for something she would say yes we can, or yes we have that, or no but I can get that or make that for you. I felt completely taken care of the whole way. She made everything so easy and I felt like I didn’t have to lift a finger. I dropped off all of my decorations the day before and she had the entire venue set up (plus extra!) perfectly for our wedding without ever asking me a question the day of. I was so impressed with how everything looked. Then at the end of the night she made sure it was all packed up in our cars and I didn’t have to do a thing!! She made sure all of our needs were met throughout the day and checked in on us to make sure we had food and drinks. The wait staff and bartenders were also so kind and attentive to all of our guests. They truly made me feel so special. I had the most incredible wedding day, absolutely perfect, and it is no doubt due to all those at the Fall River Country Club! Book them now I promise you will not be disappointed!!!”

“Picking the wedding venue is the first big step in planning the big day, after seeing the venue at Bittersweet Farm and meeting with our to be coordinator, it was a quick and easy decision to book them as a venue. We had a Fall wedding and we were fortunate to have great weather to hold the ceremony outside which is beautiful, however this venue having a 'Plan B' for the ceremony to be held inside in case of bad weather was a key selling point. Our wedding coordinator Alexis was amazing, communication was great and the day of she was so organized on directing us for the ceremony and reception. The food is also a huge highlight, all our guests kept praising how good the food was. Needless to say this was the best venue we could have picked, also we strongly feel you get your money's worth and Bittersweet gives you a very well valued package that isn't no where near where other overly priced venues are charging.”
