Our goal was to make sure no one left the dance floor, and we had an extremely high bar and specific vision for a DJ for our wedding… Davey met and exceeded expectations, and I’d throw another party just to hire him again. He was extremely helpful, available, and consultative throughout the process, which was immensely valuable because we planned the wedding from out-of-state. We wanted a party that started with familiar songs remixes into house music so that the family members could dance to something familiar, and get progressively more dancey throughout the night- and that’s exactly what we got. He’s adaptable and ready to read the crowd to keep everyone involved, which we really appreciated, and was a big priority. He puts the couple first and is very intentional about making sure the night goes smoothly and as expected. It was a party with exactly the right music, and Davey kept everyone dancing- even my 82 year old grandma. We selected Davey because of his knowledge of our music taste (he’d even played some of our favorite NYC clubs), but in referencing him it was clear that his capabilities were not limited to this style- I talked to two other couples who were just as excited about Davey as I am, but with pretty different taste. As we worked with Davey and got to know him, it also became apparent that he’s just an excellent human being, and brought such good vibes and energy to our wedding just for being who he is. To anyone considering, I could not recommend Davey more. We were close on using another vendor whose package included lights, but I’m glad we did not. The lights we would have received were auto-sensing lights that “sync” to the music- but from what I’ve seen, those lights are frenetic and unreliable. We spent some extra money investing in proper lights (Davey helped with a few introductions), and the combination of Davey’s skills and professional lighting transformed a standard wedding to a disco nightclub.”

From the first time we chatted over the phone to the day after the wedding, Erika was attentive to detail, made sure that everything was to our liking, and made us feel like a priority. She was prompt over email and always answered her phone. When I didn’t know what the arrangement would look like she invited me to her studio to look at vases, stands, dry products, greenery, and flowers to make sure that I was an informed consumer. Erika was also flexible and accommodating in regards to transportation - we had two venues: a venue for the ceremony and a venue for the reception. For example, when the two tallest arrangements we had needed to be secured physically to the stands we used, Erika went above and beyond to come up with a plan to transport the arrangements from the ceremony venue to the reception venue. She made sure that our wedding was stress-free, beautifully decorated, and personalized. You won’t go wrong hiring Erika to make your special occasion the best it can be.”

They were extremely flexible with many of our changes, they have great ideas and suggestions, we knew they have a lot of experience with weddings since our first conversation. They made sure the WHOLE wedding planning process was smooth and the least stressful possible for us. We HIGHLY recommend Red Ridge for your wedding or any other event. “We held our festival-themed wedding at Lucky Arrow Retreat in November 2023, and it was nothing short of magical. From Thursday to Sunday, we hosted a multi-day celebration with our ceremony on Saturday and a weekend packed with fun, connection, and unforgettable memories. We booked out every cabin on the property, and the incredible Rachel and Serena were instrumental in ensuring our guests had the appropriate accommodations. The newly added welcome center made check-in seamless, setting the tone for a stress-free weekend. The staff were incredibly welcoming, flexible, and accommodating to our vision, allowing us to bring in our chosen vendors and making sure every detail was covered. Hosting guests for three days might sound daunting, but the Lucky Arrow staff made it feel effortless. We were granted immense flexibility in how we utilized the property, even hosting a silent disco on the restaurant lawn on Friday night complete with a full lighting kit and three DJs! From pools, firepits, and hot tubs to the event center, rooftop, and beer garden, every amenity added to the charm and fun of the weekend. The nearby wineries, breweries, pickleball, and mini-golf made it an ideal location for all ages, with plenty to explore. Weather in November can be unpredictable, but Rachel and Serena were quick to recommend tenting vendors and ensure we had transport options with golf carts. Their support made the experience stress-free despite the touch-and-go conditions. One of the most unique aspects of Lucky Arrow is the ability to host nearly all your guests on-site. Having over 90% of our attendees within the glamping compound was a game-changer, fostering an intimate and connected atmosphere. The kids had an absolute blast exploring the property, while adults enjoyed the wine tastings and nearby Abby Jane Bakeshop for incredible breakfast and cakes. (Seriously, their cakes are a must for any celebration!) The staff went above and beyond, even providing additional security to ensure our late-night celebrations remained safe and enjoyable. Load-in and load-out were simple and efficient, and despite needing to vacate the property by Sunday morning, we never felt rushed. Planning an ambitious DIY festival wedding was no small feat, but Lucky Arrow provided the perfect canvas. Their team was responsive and accommodating, and we found that proactive communication was key to ensuring everything went smoothly. If you’re considering hosting a wedding or event here, be prepared to collaborate closely with their team—they will go the extra mile to make your vision come to life. While our wedding was before the restaurant and Airstream housing were operational, we can only imagine how much more incredible the experience must be now. Lucky Arrow Retreat is truly a one-of-a-kind venue that we wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking to host a wedding or special event. It was everything we dreamed of and more. “Two Shakes and a Twist completely exceeded our expectations! From the very beginning, they were easy to contact, responsive, and genuinely excited to help make our big day perfect. They worked closely with us throughout the entire process—from booking to the final pour—and everything was smooth and effortless. The bartenders were incredibly time-efficient (our guests never had to wait long for a drink!) and they went out of their way to make sure my husband and I were taken care of all night. One of the standout touches was the adorable custom bar sign they helped create—it added the perfect personal detail to our setup! As for the drinks—perfection. Our signature cocktails were an Old Fashioned, a Ranch Water, and a Pomegranate Lemon Martini (which they recommended and it turned out to be absolutely delicious and so refreshing—especially for our Texas June wedding). If you’re looking for bartenders who are professional, personable, and truly care about making your event amazing, I can’t recommend Two Shakes and a Twist enough!”
