All the floral companies I spoke with were so so so expensive and just didn't really click with me. I saw on LinkedIn (of all places) that Blushington had done a wedding at our venue the month before. I immediately reached out to her, got a response right away, and went in to meet with Sophie. I can't tell you the relief I felt when we sat down and started chatting. Right away Sophie had a vision for what I wanted, and with her expertise she was able to translate my badly shapen ideas into the most beautiful floral design! Everyone knows that flowers for weddings can get very (very) pricey. But Sophie works to try to keep the costs down as much as possible. For instance, repurposing bridal and bridesmaid bouquets at the reception, which I so appreciated! She even came to our venue for a walk through and had the best idea to put a floral arch in a place that I never would've thought to put it. “Working with Laughing Earth Flowers was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Elizabeth was very quick with her communication and extremely collaborative throughout the entire process. She and her team at Laughing Earth Flowers truly understood our vision and delivered creative, colorful, and unique floral designs that perfectly captured the spirit of our multicultural wedding. Elizabeth was able to incorporate some of my favorite flowers and accent peacock feathers (found on the details of my dress and an important tie to my grandma who couldn’t be there that day) into the floral arrangements, which meant the world. I’m not the biggest fan of pastel or white-colored florals, which seem to be on trend with most American weddings, but growing up in a Pakistani American household, I naturally gravitated towards darker, more vivid colored florals for weddings. Despite the challenge, Elizabeth was able to make my moody jewel-toned aesthetic both work for my personal taste and the decor of our venue. We received so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful and vibrant the florals were, not to mention how naturally fragrant our venue was due to the floral choices. “My husband and I worked with InteriorsDBK (directly with Karla) for our wedding. She provided us with the most stunning florals, candles and wedding designs! The venue was an entirely blank space with white walls, tons of windows, and cement floors, but Karla somehow made it feel like a lush garden! Our guests were vowed by the hanging floral displays, the ornate flowers lining the dance floor/DJ booth and the breathtaking center pieces. She completed our wedding’s feel by adding scented candles to the tables - which were not overwhelming, but exceptional! “Carol is so talented. When I saw her instagram I immediately loved her work and it was exactly what I was looking for. The name of her business says it all! The whimsical styled arrangements she creates are so beautiful. She is very helpful and quick to respond! Not long after I sent an inquiry form, she put together a design proposal with inspo pictures and color palette and it was SPOT on. I was geeking over how pretty and nicely put together the proposal was with all the types of flowers she would be using, the colors, and inspiration pictures that were similar to the vibe of our venue. We met at her shop and talked prices and she broke down everything for me and worked with my budget. Her and her team were amazing the day of the wedding. They came in the morning and brought everything in, set up all the tables and the ceremony site, after the ceremony they helped bring the arrangements inside to repurpose them , and came back to help with take down at the end of the night. She also left flowers at the table ready for my cake artist to decorate, and brought me the prettiest surprise bouquet to the bridal suite with a sweet note from my fiance.
