“We hired Dan for our November 2021 wedding about 18 months out (I like lots of time to slowly plan). When we started to interview photographers, Dan was very communicative. We had a wonderful phone call where he answered my dozens of questions, and we learned we had the same alma mater! Based on the phone call/email exchange and his portfolio, we hired Dan. Throughout the whole process, from hiring to delivering the final product, Dan was patient, accommodating, understanding, and very professional. His quality of work is phenomenal. We're thrilled with our photos; they're stunning. He is thorough in making sure he understands your needs for the wedding day, the flow of the day, and what pictures are important for him to capture. As the wedding day got closer, we checked in a few times to review those items. Dan was always receptive to my questions. Because the business is just Dan, the whole experience feels more intimate and special than if working with a larger photography business. He let us know the timeline of delivering our wedding photos, and he stuck to it. We booked during one of the busier times of year, so our timeline was 6 – 8 weeks, and he delivered as promised. Something I appreciate about Dan’s work is that he takes hundreds/ thousands of photos, but he doesn’t just give you a link to all of them you have to sift through 2,000 photos. He curates your wedding portfolio, culling out all the duplicates/not good ones, and gives you a beautiful package of edited photos. This is general advice to apply to anything, but if there is a specific type of photo you want, let your photographer know; no one is a mind-reader, including your photographer. I had some very specific (non-traditional) requests and Dan worked with me and our wedding party to accommodate those, weather permitting. He was always on board with my photo requests and making sure he understood what I wanted, and I really appreciated his enthusiasm and care. Also, not all photographers take time to do this during the wedding, but Dan went around to our guests’ tables to take photos of them, which was a wonderful gift to us to have more photos of our loved ones. Choosing a wedding photographer is understandably stressful; it was for me. The options are endless, and I spent hours/days researching dozens and dozens of photographers, and I had classic anxiety about making the perfect or “right” choice. Hopefully, I can save someone else the rabbit hole or researching: Dan was/is excellent. I think his price point is very competitive, and you will be glad you hired him; we absolutely are.”

Not a best friend who will just tell you what you want to hear - an actual, true friend who makes sure you look good and puts you in poses she knows work for YOU? Do you want professionalism? With Andrea, you get all of these things... and more! I started the hunt for a photographer when we got engaged in 2019. I somehow landed on Andrea's Facebook and instantly LOVED her style. After reading the bio on her website, I sent an inquiry and almost immediately received the nicest response that didn't simply give me pricing options - oh, no. The first paragraph was just Andrea being so excited for me and asking all the details - how he proposed, how long have we been together, what do we love doing together? And I was sold. I never even inquired with another photographer because I knew this is the person I wanted documenting the most important day(s) of our lives. So, naturally, the world came to a stop right before our planned dinner date to get to know each other (how sweet is she?!) and instead "met" over a Zoom meeting. We discussed that we would be postponing to [this] year. Three hours and one bottle of wine later, we figured out the details for her to come shoot our "mini-mony" wedding on our original date. That day comes and my family couldn't stop talking about how much they adored her! Honestly, she will make you feel like she has known you and your family forever. Okay, I'm probably losing you here so fast forward to our real wedding last weekend and as things go, we got a little bit behind in makeup so Andrea (and her AMAZING second-shooter Rachel) were already at the venue getting the groom shots, details shots, etc. I get there, I'm stressed, not entirely confident in my last-minute coordinator supplied by my venue, and there's Andrea ready to greet me with a huge hug, smile and all the reassuring words a bride needs to hear. Instant relief. When I tell you that Andrea (and Rachel <3) went ABOVE AND BEYOND their job description, I whole-heartedly mean it. She literally bustled my dress and helped me get in/out when I needed to pee. Without this girl, my day would have been unbelievably chaotic and frankly, a mess, but she truly saved it. She will not only photograph your day and produce those breathtaking photos (which she 10000% did because I already got my sneak peeks), but she will be your shoulder to lean on because she truly cares about her brides and loves what she does. “I truly had the dream team with Ashley, Michelle, and Ashley on my wedding day. Communication is a huge thing for me when it came to planning the wedding and they always responded in a timely manner and worked with my husbands crazy schedule. On our wedding day Ashley was with the ladies and I during getting ready, while Michelle had to handle the guys, I say handle because they’re a handful especially once my dad is thrown into the mix. (You know the sos button on your phone… yeah my dad bumped that and the state cops showed up…. Oops.) but Michelle did amazing with them. We had a first look and then did our family photos and they did a wonderful job getting the kids attention (3 kids under 2). During our ceremony I had no idea they were even there, they really do just blend in to the scene. During cocktail hour Ashley took some precious photos of us with our son that I know I’ll cherish forever. They even took us out for some nighttime portraits before the left for the night.
