Loren Hansen Photography

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $6,500
  • Serves Fulton, CA

Welcome. I’ve been a make-up artist, chocolatier, a barista, a pet-sitter, a bartender but I’ve always been “that girl with the camera.” (I’ve also been, “that girl who sleeps on our couch” or “that girl who’s booty I saw in the newspaper” but I digress…). Currently, I base my photography business in Petaluma, CA. I grew up in Sonoma County but in my early 20’s I picked up and moved to Manitoba and that’s where I stayed for many years. Upon my return to CA in 2013 I turned my passion for photography into a career. It’s been a journey to call photography my profession, but I’ve always been a photographer and I’ve always been an artist.

Awarded Best of Zola
We cannot thank Loren Hasen enough for her outstanding work at our wedding! Loren was incredibly professional, fun, and personable. She seamlessly blended into the background, making it easy to be ourselves without even realizing she was there. The photos Loren took are absolutely stunning. She captured every special moment with skill and creativity, leaving us amazed at the fantastic shots she managed to get. Each photo truly reflects the joy and love of our special day. Loren, your work exceeded our expectations, and we are so grateful for the beautiful memories you've given us. Thank you for being such an integral part of our wedding. We highly recommend you to anyone looking for a talented and delightful photographer!

This team is amazing. We had both Laurie and Roy to take engagement and wedding photos. Always on time, they make you feel comfortable, even when you’re a little awkward. And the photos all turned out great! Very flexible and accommodating; we had a slight issue and had to change venues and they were super understanding. Had pictures back to us in a very timely manner. Great experience my first time ever booking with a professional. 10/10 recommended Laurie Ann Martin Photography!

If you would have known me growing up, you would have been surprised if I didn’t become a photographer! I fell in love with photography after spending countless hours in the darkroom. Since 2008, I have been working professionally in the photography industry and have shot over 300 weddings and numerous other assignments in almost every genre of photography. Why Weddings? I love problem solving and puzzles, and I’m always up for a good challenge. For me, a wedding is a day full of all of the things that I love. Its basically a whole day of coming up with solutions to make the best photographs for my couples.

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I worked with Lisa for our engagement photos and our wedding, and we were blown away by her services. She is incredibly professional and prepared. She helped us decide on a location for our engagement photos and arrived early to scout it out. Before our wedding, she met with us (virtually) to go over the schedule of the day and our shot list. At the same time, she is also quick to adapt in the moment. She was able to respond to the lighting conditions during our photo shoots to take gorgeous pictures, and she caught many wonderful moments with our guests during our wedding. She is also very creative and took pictures from unique angles and perspectives. Best of all, both times Lisa delivered her photos promptly. Our married friends were astounded by how quickly we got our photos back! We love looking back on pictures from our wedding day, and they captured the day so thoroughly that we feel like we can relive it. We cannot recommend Lisa more highly.

Lauren and Jamie here. Hi! We love all love. We’re down to earth, creatively driven, ready for beautiful adventures, and in this business for the moments. We're so excited to hear about your wedding plans and to start chatting-- we'll do our best to get back to you within 24 hours. A great way to start getting to know us is over on Instagram where we post and share behind the scenes on stories almost daily: @eicharphotography Head to our website to see our images in full res and to stalk us some more: www.eicharphotography.com Looking forward to your email!

In a covid wedding world, Lauren and Jamie showed up for us. From the start, they were eager to get to know us, understand our vision, and do everything they could (above and beyond) to help it come to life. We put together a ceremony on a cliff, sight unseen, but Lauren and Jamie scouted locations for us, talked us through logistics, and were exactly the people we needed with us to make this day happen. They are creative and adventurous, detail-oriented and responsive. Looking back, they were the piece that held everything together from planning to watching it all unfold in front of us. They were discreet during our intimate ceremony and we were able to just be ourselves and enjoy the day. They captured incredible moments and classic portraits that we will cherish forever. Our guests still talk about Lauren hopping on Jamie's shoulders to get an epic group shot on the cliffside. It is more than just earning a paycheck for these two, they are genuinely kind and talented people that you want with you on such a memorable day. Our best wedding decision was hiring Eichar Photography!

Aubrey Lorraine Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,200
  • Serves Fulton, CA

My love for photography sparked from a deeply personal place—watching my children grow up way too quickly and wanting to capture those fleeting moments before they slipped away. This journey turned into a passionate calling, and now, I look to bring a documentary and cinematic style to every session I have with my clients. As a quiet queer and a loud LGBTQIA+ advocate—everyone is welcome in front of my lens. My priority is creating a safe space for my clients where they feel they can express themselves freely so I can capture the uniqueness that makes them - them.

Aubrey was such a joy to work with. My partner and I decided to have an engagement session since we never got to experience a couples shoot during Covid. Aubrey was very hands on with the collaboration of ideas and ultimately made us feel comfortable having a fun time at a local motel in our area. She was very affirming as well with our pronouns and expressions as humans - super important for my love and I since we were considerate of that when we wanted to work with a photographer! The images are beautiful and we cherish the memories that she helped to create. She's the best, hands down.

Russ Levi Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,800
  • Serves Fulton, CA

I am an irreverent guy who just so happens to create beautiful-rich-vibrant-uniquely-authentic wedding photography in and around the Bay Area, all over California and anywhere there’s beautiful light.

Awarded Best of Zola
We did a lot of shopping around for our engagement photos, and we decided to go with Russ. When we got the photos back, we knew we would never use another photographer in the bay area again. The photoshoot felt so casual, but the resulting photos looked carefully crafted to perfection. When the circumstances led to us doing a zoom elopement, we jumped at the opportunity to book Russ again. A consistent experience, with some of the most beautiful photos we've ever seen. It's hard to believe they were taken right outside our door. He has a talent for turning just about any location into an incredible work of art. During these crazy times, it's also worth noting that he wore 2 masks and was very respectful of our space to make sure everyone felt safe. 10/10 will book again.

Welcome! My name is Aryk, I’m a self-taught artist who built my skills from the ground up. My experience in photojournalism and street photography combined with my love of fine art are the foundation of my style. My approach to weddings is that of a documentarian and a witness. My couples are folks who value quality and intimacy, and want their wedding day illustrated with a unique album filled with artful candids, punctuated by breathtaking fine art portraiture.

Aryk is one of a kind. Our wedding was so beautifully captured thanks to them. As a wedding photographer myself, it was important for me to find someone that excelled not just in the technical aspects, but in the overall experience they provide their couples. Aryk always made me and Noah feel comfortable and listened to. They're sensible, communicative, professional, courteous, and always engaged. Always going with the flow, Aryk can adapt to change while still providing excellent results. We appreciated how Aryk's photography method provided us with a one-of-a-kind gallery: a blend of film and digital, all showcasing the genuine emotions I so desperately wanted captured, and in such a beautiful way. Our families and friends are STILL so in awe of the photos we came out with thanks to them. We love you Aryk!!

We absolutely loved working with James and his team on our wedding day! They were so professional, kind, skilled, and made us feel at ease. We were not super comfortable in front of the camera so I was nervous how our photos would turn out, but they created such a relaxed environment, and our photos turned out so beautiful. Really quick editing turn around too, many photographers we scoped out would take 8-12 weeks to turn around all the photos. James and his team delivered nearly 1000 photos to us in just a few weeks. He also came to our rehearsal the night before (completely unprompted!) to scope out the venue ahead of time. Overall a phenomenal experience. I cant wait to work with Bustle and Twine again for family photos in the future. Thank you B&T!!!!

I am a Mother, Poet and never-ending dog trainer of my 3 spoiled fur babies. I grew up around photography, my grandfather was a photographer and this has always been something I loved to do. I love people and I have a ton of fun working at events. I am always excited to capture these moments for people and proud to share my results afterward. Photographing people and moments over the years is my true calling in life. Gives me great purpose and I really do enjoy it.

Have you ever met someone you just instantly clicked with? That was meeting Mrs. Opal Prince. From our very first conversation, Opal completely understood my vision--and more impressively, she worked with me through every indecisive moment and my very type B planning style. She never once made me feel underprepared or behind; instead, she offered thoughtful suggestions, filled in the blanks when I couldn't quite articulate something, and genuinely partnered with me every step of the way. We first worked with Opal for our engagement session, which I was admittedly nervous about--especially since my fiancé has a five-minute photo stamina at best. Not only did Opal make the experience comfortable and fun, but she even brought in her husband to help manage our wild dog so we could get a mix of shots with and without him. When I say our pup couldn't have been in better hands with someone we had just met-l mean it. The session was full of laughter, reassurance, and ease, even as our dog did his best to cause chaos. And the photos? They were turned around quickly and completely blew us away. I had several people text me photos of our Save the Dates, amazed by amazed by the stunning pictures Opal captured. Those engagement photos will be treasured for the rest of our lives--and then came the wedding... Opal and her partner, Wing, perfectly captured the energy of the day--Wing with my fiancé and his groomsmen, and Opal with me and my bridesmaids. You can truly feel the personality and emotion, which I fully attribute to the energy they bring. Their calming, friendly presence makes it feel like you're just hanging out with a friend--not posing for a camera. Our wedding day brought its fair share of last-minute weather pivots, and while Opal's role was officially a photographer, she effortlessly became so much more. I found myself turning to her again and again, and every time she was there--calmly helping, offering direction, keeping me on track. Though she was not our coordinator, she filled that role in such a natural way, and I am so grateful for her presence on that day. I can't imagine not having Opal or Wing with us for future milestones. They are the kind of photographers who make even the most camera-shy person feel confident and beautiful, offering clear guidance and capturing magic along the way Book Sweetbay Photography!!! You will NOT regret it!

Melissa Atle

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $10,000
  • Serves Fulton, CA

After 10 years and over 200 weddings, I know how to fold into a large group of people, how to be there and make it feel like I'm not. I've been documenting weddings for nearly a decade and I love it even more now than when I started. My work is candid, emotional, and comfortable. I love to infuse editorial and documentary moments into my galleries, but mostly I just love to be able to photograph moments as they unfold.

It’s been a year since our wedding and I still look at the photos Melissa captured of us on a daily basis. When we were going through the painstaking process of planning and budgeting for our wedding, photos were at the top of my list in terms of their importance. Enter Melissa—we met a year and a half before our wedding day when she took our engagement photos and it was basically love at first sight. We felt so incredibly comfortable with her almost immediately and by the end of our session, we were bantering and joking around like old friends. Flash forward to our wedding day—not only did Melissa take gorgeous photos of our ceremony, first look, reception, etc, but she was a support system and that is something that is truly invaluable on one of the biggest days of your life. I can’t recommend her more.

Amy Little Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,900
  • Serves Fulton, CA

I'm Amy, chief picture taker, head editor, dubious web designer, and volunteer animal hugger at Amy Little Photography. Work is always fun because I'm never far from snacks and never close to snakes. Taking pretty pictures is easy. But documenting the honest, emotionally raw, and laugh-out-loud, because you didn't know that happened pictures is where I really shine. Photographing hundreds of weddings has deepened my joy of authentic storytelling. It's also been a catalyst for my cake addiction so I hope you're cool with being an enabler.

When I was looking at photographer portfolios, what I paid attention to most was how they captured candids. Could the joy, love, and excitement of the days shine through? Literally no one could compete with Amy Little there! She has an incredible talent for capturing the sweet moments that make a wedding special. Then I talked to her, and we instantly vibed. She even made my fiance lighten up and feel comfortable -- a herculean task! On top of that, she made us look and feel stunning. She taught us two awkward penguins how to model and let our true selves show on film. I still don't know how she did it! And on the day of, she not only was solving problems like a boss, she turned her creative eye into some jawdroppingly beautiful creative pictures in the rain. She's a genius, and I couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out.

Awarded Best of Zola
Boris was recommended to us by our original wedding photographer who had to back out, given she was moving her business to the East coast. From our first email exchange and phone call with Boris, he was such a delight to work with! We didn't actually meet in person until a few hours before our wedding when he arrived to start photos, and we immediately felt so comfortable and relaxed working with him. His attention to detail and ability to "herd cats" in order to make sure all of our preferred photos were captured was impressive, and he had great suggestions of photo areas / shots that we didn't even think of which was great. If you're looking for a photographer who is a true professional and can direct shots, look no further! Boris brought a great energy to our wedding day and our guests continue to sing his praise based on how gracefully he interacted with everyone at our reception to capture candid shots and we could not be happier with how our photos turned out! I highly recommend Boris and would love to work with him again!

Hi. It’s Michelle. And I’m a photographer who lets you relive every moment of your wedding. You cried coming down the aisle? Perfect! The best man forgot the rings? Hilarious! Three-hour portrait sessions? No way! Couples (and moms) ask me all the time…“How did you get that shot? I didn’t even see you!” That’s my style… unobtrusive, authentic, exceptional. I truly love what I do and it shows in emotional, meaningful photography. So, give me a ring. I can't wait to hear all about your big day!

We absolutely loved working with Michelle for our wedding. Michelle is so fun and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera from day one! She helped turn our “Covid/backyard” wedding into the most amazing and special day. She captures the most incredible moments and has an unbelievable eye for detail. Our day would not have been the same without her. Her love of “love” is contagious and everyone around her can feel it. Michelle is the absolute best. We cannot recommend her enough. My biggest passions are aesthetics and human connection...so weddings are naturally my favorite thing to photograph. After hundreds of weddings, I still find myself tearing up (or maybe a little more than tearing up) at almost every wedding I photograph. People describe me as being sweet and my work as having a delicate, elegant, feminine, and refined quality to it. I believe in authentic romance and real love. My favorite weddings are outdoors, featuring sweeping coastal backdrops, soaring redwoods, rolling hills, or gorgeous vineyards mixed with tastefully stylish decor - and always with a lot of love.
