Leading up to the wedding, Kevin was informative, communicative, and has the type of personality that helps melt the stress away (and I couldn't have appreciated that more in the last week before the wedding!). He was also adaptable without judgement which is sometimes in short supply in the wedding industry but goes a long, long way in my book. For the wedding, we created playlists for the different sections of the wedding, and Kevin knew just how to make our vision come to life --playing the right songs at just the right time and helping the wedding flow seamlessly. He also helped curate the perfect mood for dancing with his light design, and his new Photo Booth add on gave our guests an endless source of enjoyment when they needed to catch their breath off the dance floor. (And even more enjoyment for us when we got to see all the pictures and gifs people took after the wedding!). And if all that wasn't enough already, he even volunteered to take pictures during our sparkler exit and captured one of my favorite pictures of the whole day! If I ever needed to plan a big event again in the future, the choice for DJ is already made.”

Not only was he professional and organized, but he also brought an incredible energy to our wedding. For the ceremony and cocktail hour, we provided him with a specific music selection, and even though we never rehearsed together, he nailed it perfectly. During the reception, we gave him a playlist, and he struck the perfect balance between sticking to our choices and reading the crowd to keep everyone dancing. One highlight was when Joey G handed the microphone to people in the crowd, turning our reception into an impromptu karaoke party. It was a blast! He was not only fun and engaging but also very attentive to our needs. He asked how to pronounce each name correctly for the toasts, ensuring everything went smoothly. We requested that he not take song requests, and he respected our wishes completely. The sound quality was stellar, and his equipment setup was flawless. Joey G understood our need for clean music as we had many families with young children attending, yet he still kept the atmosphere lively and fun. The dance floor was packed with all 150 guests! “In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

He was so sympathetic and wanted to help make our September 2020 micro-wedding special and memorable for us! He was understanding, compassionate and sympathetic about our situation. Although Matt was unavailable to DJ our 9/20 wedding, we were told in advance that Dan was very good and would be stepping in. We spoke with Dan just about a week before our wedding and got 95% of the info he needed (because WE were being indecisive) oops. Then, the night before the wedding, he got the last few songs he needed from me via text! Unbelievable! He played all the songs we requested and timed our precessional and recessional songs perfectly!! If you get a DJ for your wedding- choose LB Entertainment!”
