If someone tried to bribe me to get out on the floor in near tropical levels of humidity and sweltering, oppressive temperatures, it would take a hefty sum. And yet, twice now I have seen Jeremy get not just me, but over one hundred people to move our feet to the expertly curated beats and harmonies, ignoring the heat in what were inarguably the best dance parties I have had the joy of participating in. My wife discovered Jeremy after I struck out in my search to find adequate music for our wedding. After wading through a sea of ridiculous quotes, flaky DJ's, and logistical nightmares involving the transportation of bands, I gave up entirely. So when my wife explained that she had found a DJ with extremely reasonable rates and fantastic reviews, I was in disbelief. But then, she played for me a sample mix that Jeremy had put together for a HIIT class and it was pure musical magnificence. We hired him soon after. Jeremy was prompt and polite in communications, knowledgeable, unforgettably friendly, and above all else the master of the party's vibe. He managed to blend Beyonce with MGMT, he got my grandmother dancing to N'Sync, I can't overstate how much fun we had. When we remember our wedding with friends and families, the music is everyone's highlight. I cannot recommend Jeremy highly enough. - Nic My partner and I were looking for a DJ for our wedding. This was a new experience for me, but Jeremy made it incredibly easy. He was organized, incredibly friendly, and even provided a survey to better understand our music tastes as well as our vision for the event. In an incredibly sweaty barn, he got the whole group jumping and singing and bopping around (the photos from that party are.. too wild to share). They were communicative throughout the entire process and even sent monthly checklists to ensure the wedding planning timeline was ironed out and reminded you of the small details that most folks forget about. It’s the little things like these emails that went above and beyond to make sure our evening went as smoothly as possible. Our DJ, Elmer, was very enthusiastic despite challenges at the beginning of the event – the venue coordinator was very combative with him during set-up – and he didn’t let it affect the energy of the evening. (We didn’t find out until after the wedding date from our other vendors setting up and we had to reach out and ask about it because he didn’t want us to worry at all). He provided a high energy level and hits for dancing the whole evening and stuck to our favorite music vibes. Our photo booth operator, Becky, pulled us aside to take photos in the booth and thank goodness she did because we didn’t get the chance to go in before or after she pulled us aside. She put our guestbook together throughout the evening and it was fun to have something that captured our night to look through the next morning. Signature DJs was reasonably priced considering everything we received - music for ceremony & reception, mics, uplighting for dance floor, photo booth with guest book, monogram, and bubble exit complete with 2 bubble machines and bubbles for individual guests. They were flexible with our requests (customized monogram, unconventional timeline, and last-minute song additions) and had already worked at our venue so they were already familiar with the space which was super helpful because the venue coordinator was awful to work with. They put us at ease and gave us confidence that our day would be wonderful when we were the most stressed. “Josh had our whole wedding dancing all night. With really creative mixing, he was able to blend in so many different genres seamlessly. Most importantly, he was really attuned to the crowd's energy and was great about knowing when to play a song in full and when to just tease us with quick samples. If you're looking for someone who really listens to what you want, instead of playing just the same 30 songs you hear at every wedding, Josh is your DJ. The music selection process is easy - in addition to check-in calls and zooms, he uses an app, so you can build you can craft the perfect playlist ahead of time. We both really enjoyed adding songs to our app throughout the planning process. But the best was actually hearing the way he was able to combine so many of our favorite songs for our reception party. He had all our of guests (ages ranging from 10 to over 80 years old) dancing all night long. Our first comment from friends the day after our wedding was about how fun they had on the dance floor and how great the music was! I also think its important to add that Josh handled our wedding ceremony music, cocktail music, dinner music and sparkler exits as well- he provided mics, sounds systems, everything we needed, and all of those were executed perfectly. He was on time for set-up, very respectful of the rules/guidelines in places at our historic venue, and he collaborated really well with our other vendors to make sure everything looked and sounded perfect. Also he is just the nicest guy- really responsive on email and genuine- which was so, so appreciated during tho last few chaotic months of wedding planning. 10/10 - highly recommend.”

He is prompt, personable, and helpful in all our communications, and we especially appreciated the ease of the planning process when using his app, to choose songs to play, info he needed to know as MC for our wedding night, and timeline planning. “Words can’t express how much we loved working with Ana & Jimmy and the entire Amp DJ Band Hybrid. My husband really wanted a band while I really wanted a DJ, Amp DJ band was the perfect mix. We found Ana & Jimmy immediately and were able to schedule a meeting with them the next day. We knew right away that they were right for us. They were extremely attentive and outgoing from the start. They answered all out of questions and addressed concerns we had. We booked them immediately because we didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to work with them. We met with them several times through our 6 month planning process. They responded immediately to any questions that popped up along the way and even allowed us to make a last minute change the night before. They well exceeded our musical playlist, taking the songs we requested and tailoring the rest of the music to fit the vibe. There was a perfect mix of live songs and an awesome dj set. The amount of compliments my husband & I received about the band far exceeded anything we expected. All of our guests LOVED them (of course as did we). So many people reached out that night or the next day to say how impressed they were with Ana, Jimmy & the whole band. We also had an acoustic guitar player at our cocktail hour which was amazing. If you’re debating getting a band for your wedding because your heart is set on a DJ, seriously look no further than Amp DJ Band hybrid. You will not be disappointed.
