I loved not having to worry about rentals, caterers, bar staff, hotel rooms, getting-ready areas, and even pre-wedding snacks. The Westin did it all. The Vieux doubles as an Airbnb and wedding venue, which was the ideal space for my wedding since my family was from out of town. Knowing that I was paying one price for lodging for my family and a wedding venue all in one was a major source of peace of mind. It was so wonderful not worrying about having to book two different venues for the ceremony and reception! Not to mention how beautiful both the cabin and grounds are! We were going to have our ceremony on top of the mountain with the mountain views in the background but the uncertainty of the weather influenced our decision to have it down at the cabin instead. We did take our couple portraits at the top of the mountain with the views though!\n\nThe Vieux has so many options - inside and outside - for both ceremony and reception locations (if weather doesn't look like it will cooperate!) Having those options was amazing, as well as the host's communication, responsiveness and willingness to help at every step of the process - also an answer to prayer. Kathryn was a phenomenal host and I highly recommend her and her venue! She helped us so much, kept in constant communication whenever I had questions or needed any kind of help. It all culminated in the most beautiful and special day that my husband and I could imagine. We will always look back on our wedding with the sweetest memories - all made possible by Kathryn and The Vieux. I had heard horror stories about couples not being able to eat, but they made sure we had food! We had 150 people at our wedding and they had everyone seated with food in under 20 minutes.
