The Wildflower was the perfect venue for our wedding! From the moment we first reached out, Debbie was quick to respond, assuring, and incredibly helpful in guiding us through the planning process. The outdoor setting with its beautiful pond and contemporary barn was exactly the vibe we were going for. On the day of, Debbie made sure everything went so smoothly - we even got to share a special dance with her and Kevin which was such a lovely moment. As you walk into the Little Chapel in-the-Woods you are entering into a tradition. Located on the edge of Texas Woman’s University, the chapel is a secluded sanctuary that has held weddings since September 1939, a few months before its dedication by Eleanor Roosevelt. We have two beautiful ballrooms to host the wedding reception of your dreams! The Chapel attendant is present to set up the chapel for the wedding, set up the sound system and instruct your vendors on usage, and to oversee the facility. They will be happy to provide limited guidance and answer any questions you may have about the rehearsal or processional. If you desire full-scale coordination you are welcome to provide a planner or even a friend with experience to manage the flow of your wedding ceremony.

I first want to say I have worked at this venue a handful of times between both the lodge and the ranch and have had a great experience each time. We've had issues with storage for some vendors and the staff was able to get it handled and assist us pretty quickly. I've loved coordinating at this venue because everything is set up and the staff helps right away the day of. Security is very pleasant to work with as well and they go above and beyond at night. I believe a lot of their services are done in house now and the times I have met their DJ and catering, they're professional. The morning staff does a great job at making sure we know who they are and they check on us throughout. Just want to post this review because reviews from vendors are rare and if you are a bride planning on booking here, as a vendor, they are truly great to work with!

WOW!!! My husband and I just got married here this past weekend and it turned out even better than we thought possible. The venue is located off a quiet country road but is very easy to find and access from the city. Donna and Rick (the venue owners and coordinators) have thought about everything, and helped us with items and logistics that never even crossed our minds. I really got to just focus on the present moment during my whole preparation and ceremony due to their well planned schedule and event space. I had the pleasure of getting ready in the bridal suite which is set-up beautifully, allowing us to capture some really sweet photos of my mom helping me with my dress and shoes. The outdoor aisle is placed perfectly, with a fence and gate system that allows the wedding party to all get lined up accordingly, while keeping the bride away from the guests’ eye until the grand reveal. The area was well shaded, breezy, and had plenty of space for many guests to be seated comfortably. Rick coordinated our music playlist over the speakers, with our songs to enter and exit to all being played at the exact moments needed. The archway at the end of the aisle had the most picturesque background, and we even got to go out in the wildflower field and enchanted forest for additional photos! Donna provided me with a wonderful vendor list that I was able to secure the sweetest photographer from. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I wish I had more events that I need this venue for and will suggest it for my friends. We had a small ceremony outside so we did not need to utilize it but the indoor space is very versatile with an additional archway, plenty of seating, space for a dance floor and the neatest fully sliding door walls leading out to a wrap around porch with panoramic views of the meticulously kept ranch. I’ve been to the ranch a few times and seen the progress being made to make this a wonderful venue. The setting and location are such that one gets a feeling of the openness and serenity that being in nature provides. My most recent visit was to celebrate the New Year. Arriving at the ranch, the lights and decorations were welcoming and celebratory of the season. Guests arriving at the ranch were whisked back in time, greeted by entertainers from the great gatsby era. Needless to say food and drink was fantastic and the evening (morning) was capped off with fireworks, celebrating the arrival of the new year. I’m confident that the owners and staff will make your “special” event one to remember.

We had a traditional Nigerian ceremony and our vow exchange on the same day…essentially 2 ceremonies which involved many moving parts and a busy day of schedule. It was absolutely the best day, the entire staff was very helpful and tended to every single detail. The meetings leading up to the wedding were very thorough which made it very easy to enjoy our wedding without any hassle. The wedding package made planning so easy, the venue was beautiful, and most importantly we had the most amazing time! Rehearsal dinner perfection! I wish I could give this rating SIX stars instead of five because they surpassed in every way. The food was amazing, the setting was warm, inviting, beautiful! Darrell, Jill and Donna were a step ahead of us at every turn. They accommodated our every request and anticipated our needs before we even knew we had them. Professional and personal! I would recommend Gather in Downtown McKinney for ANY event. Ours happened to be a rehearsal dinner for 80. . . but they could handle anything, large or small. THANK YOU Gather!

Our wedding was truly the most magical day! Barnett Estates was one of the first and only venues we toured because we absolutely fell in love. Weddings can be extremely expensive and we were worried about finding a beautiful venue that was in our budget. For the price point you get access to SO many different decorations that most venues don’t offer. Not to mention that the venue itself is stunning. After booking with them a lot of the stress is immediately taken away as they help you through every step of the way and are quick to respond if you reach out with any questions or concerns. We ended up booking with a lot of the vendors that they recommended and I’m so happy we did! The DJ was AMAZINGLY upbeat and kept the party going all night. The food they offered was delicious and we received so many compliments on it! The cake that we got through their bakery was delicious and they were super accommodating to allergies by offering a gluten free cake as well. The sparklers and fireworks we got for our grand entrance made us feel like we were in a fairy tale. The photographer they recommended didn’t miss a single moment and the photos ended up turning out beautiful. The day of the wedding we did have a small hiccup that caused our grand entrance time to be delayed but they were quick to get it sorted with minimal disruption. The rest of the day went off without a hitch and everything came together perfectly. Weeks later we still have friends and family telling us how it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and a lot of that is thanks to Barnett Estates. Overall we could not recommend Barnett Estates enough. Thank you for giving us the wedding of our dreams!

My husband and I fell in love with this place when we first saw it and the pricing is great for everything they include! We didn’t to bring too much decor because the venue itself is already gorgeous and they already have some decor for use! The bar was awesome, didn’t need to worry about it and the pricing was also very good. Becky was great at helping everything move along on the day of. Overall, highly recommend this venue. Our wedding was beautiful and had that intimate feel we were wanting.

We got married a little over a week ago at the Wildwood Inn, and I cannot say enough about how obsessed I am with the venue and about how wonderful everyone was throughout the entire process. The Wildwood Inn was the first venue I looked at when planning our wedding, and it was the last because, frankly, I couldn’t imagine a more perfect place to celebrate. The ability to stay in the 14 guest rooms was a highlight for us, as most of our guests were from out of town, and on top of being a nice gesture to some of those guests, it also allowed us the opportunity to visit with them further after the wedding without having to move to a bar for an after-party. The ceremony space is perfect for anyone having a smaller, more intimate wedding (we had just under 60 guests), and the pergola and string lights lent it an ethereal feel for our evening ceremony. We haven’t gotten our pictures yet, but since we forgot to make an unplugged ceremony announcement (oops!), we have some photos from guests that tell me our professional pictures are going to be beautiful on this backdrop. The reception took place in the dining area, and we opted to keep the bar out on the patio, which allowed us enough space to keep the dance floor inside (rather than moving it to the patio, which was the alternative option for larger parties). With six round tables (seating 10 each) , the dance floor was big enough to fit everyone who wanted to boogie but not so big that you felt like you were dancing in the open! Our coordinator, Madison, kept everyone to task, helped to fix my bustle when I kept tripping, and made sure we didn’t miss out on any of the food (she pre-packed some desserts and left them in our room). She also made sure a guest could get a last-minute lactose-free meal, made sure we got our custom drink glasses on our table, and helped with numerous other requests! The planning process was a breeze (especially compared to what many other brides seem to experience)! Kaleigh, our planner, was great to work with and answered all of my spur-of-the-moment questions promptly. My initial concern in picking an all-inclusive venue was that I had less control over each individual element. And it’s true that I probably spoke for 45 minutes cumulatively with the floral team, 20 minutes with the photographer, 10 minutes with the DJ, and only sent over info pictures for the cake. Even with Kaleigh, I probably had a total of three hours of face-to-face time. HOWEVER, each of those meetings was purpose-driven and structured to get the answers they needed without wasting your time, and I was so incredibly excited to see how wonderfully my vision came together on the day of…the florals, food, decor, music, EVERYTHING was perfect. If I have one critique, it’s that we weren’t able to get into the venue until 3:00pm for our 5:00 ceremony and so getting ready & doing our first look felt a little rushed. That said, if you’re looking, like I was, for a low-stress wedding and a beautiful place to have it, Wildwood Inn is your place!!
