“We were super excited to work with a veteran-owned business for our wedding music. However, the experience was not what we had hoped for. William's communication style was fast and accommodating, but he had a hard time matching the style of music we provided for our playlist (we provided around 40 songs for him and he added the rest to get the time coverage, but we didn't like 60% of his choices so we changed them 2 days before, which he fixed with no complaints!). During the ceremony, the music was skipping (outdoor and separate from reception area) and he ended up playing more guest requests than the songs we had specifically chosen as the couple. One big positive was he had a good balance of talking/directing and just playing music which I really appreciated. Overall, we had mixed feelings but all the issues we had could have been corrected with an equipment check (not sure if this was a venue issue or DJ issue) and preference of our music over the guests. I really liked working with William as a person and he handled changes really well, but I was disappointed to not hear more of my song choices.”

I had already booked a DJ, but was specifically looking for a company that would be able to provide cold spark machines for our first dance and our grand exit. I said I wanted as many as he could provide for both of those moments and he was able to use eight total machines (four on each side). The layout of them was perfect and made for some fantastic photos and videos. Sean also asked what the first dance song was ahead of time so he would know the piece of music and could then time the start of the cold spark machines with the first chorus of the song for a more dramatic effect. The crowd was shocked and amazed when they went off during our first dance and the timing was perfect! Sean was able to make the vision I dreamed about come to life and I could not be happier with how it was executed! He was easy to get in touch with and very communicative leading up to the event and the day of the event to make sure the timing for everything would work out. “There are not words to describe how much we loved having DJ Krystyle perform at our Aug 2024 wedding. She was very responsive, communicative, and has a super easy online portal that helps capture every detail you could think of for the event music. She’s also a lovely human in general to work with. We went with the approach of choosing the major songs and providing general recommendations around genres and let the expert handle the rest. We had multiple guests tell us they could not stop dancing or singing along the entire night. We had every age group on the dance floor.
