“I seriously can’t put into words how amazing she was and cannot recommend her enough. She was great to have around on our wedding day and I am so happy with our photos. The groomsmen didn't have their act together, even though she provides a detailed schedule, and she was totally chill about it and was like no biggie I'll be back in 30. My fiancé commented on how awesome she was (didn't comment on any other vendors) and one of his groomsmen did too (see first pic). This was before we even saw the pics and they turned out better than I could have imagined. At one point I told her I was done taking pics I wanted to go talked to people and dance, so was a little worried if we got enough shots, but was blown away with the results. I also told her I didn't care that much about getting ready pics but wanted a lot of guest candids and she delivered. She also got way more getting ready pics than I even expected. We didn't want to spend money on a second photographer and she was fine with that and got all the pics we wanted on her own. She truly listened to what we wanted and was incredible at communication and organization. “It was love at first sight when I found Blooming Faith Photography on Zola! I was struck by the classic style of the portraits and natural air of those being photographed. It was exactly what I was looking for! Melissa was quick to respond to my inquiry and provided all the info I needed right off the bat. She is detailed and thorough in her correspondence and planning, which I appreciated since we only had 5 months to plan our wedding long distance. She offered an introductory Zoom consultation to discuss our vision for the photos so we could feel at ease leading up to the actual day. When the time came, Melissa was the consummate professional! We did a First Look shoot, and she lead the way completely, to avoid any awkward mishaps and to insure we got the moment captured on our video as well. All of our formal photos were posed beautifully and naturally, and she timed it all perfectly (which was great, because it was quite cold!) She’s also great with kids! Our flower girl and ring bearer had a great time doing photos. At both the ceremony and reception, Melissa didn’t miss a single moment yet remained respectful and discreet.
