“We are so happy we chose Lucia to capture our elopement. Lucia is professional, fast to respond to emails and texts, helpful with decisions, accommodating to any requests, concerns, and excited to give advice. Duncan and I really wanted our photographer to capture our true emotion and to get candids of us, and Lucia DID THAT! The day felt blissful and a key point for us was that we got to enjoy the day without it feeling solely like a photoshoot which I think speaks to Lucias talent and confidence in her craft. She was good at giving guiding advice for posing without us feeling posed. I put together a Pinterest board and shot list which she really did a great job pulling inspiration from. The photos are stunning and the exact style we envisioned. Also, our sneak peak was huge and she got them to us very fast. “We are so so SO grateful we found Jules/Datura Photo to shoot our wedding. She did an incredible job capturing the emotions and the overall story of our day and we couldn’t be happier with ouyr wedding photos! We also utilized Jules for our videography and we are in love with our wedding video. You can really tell when you watch our video and look at our photos that we had a photographer who just loves love. She told our love story so beautifully. You can also tell that she knows so much about composition, lighting, etc. She does a great job with giving directions for where to stand and poses to do for those of us who know nothing about getting our picture taken. Not only is she an incredibly talented and gifted artist in her photography, but she is a total gem to work and spend the day with. She was also super communicative and professional throughout the entire process, went above and beyond and stayed late to get pics at our after party, and as an added bonus she was amazing with the kids in our wedding party and getting them to smile for the camera! We could literally go on and on about how amazing she was. We would highly recommend booking Datura Photo for any wedding, but especially if you want your photos to feel artsy, vintage, romantic, and emotional.”
