She arrived early to the venue to capture photos and understand the space overall. She was very good about taking photos in a way that didn't interrupt the flow of events while navigating a fairly large and irregularly shaped venue. Our wedding day started on a sunny day at noon and ended in the evening. We started following her instagram years prior and fell in love with how she captured every moment, from the guests to the couple. Not only were her photos amazing, but being a part of the LGBTQ community can feel daunting at times when reaching out to vendors, specifically for same-sex weddings. Located at the Jersey Shore, where most photographers focus on sunny beach weddings, I was looking for something different. Our wedding took place in the fall, full of rich earth tones and a fun, edgy vibe that centered not just on romance, but on the presence of our children. It was important to us that the day felt authentic, emotional, and full of movement. And, just to make it more fun, ours was a Halloween wedding.
