“I truly don’t know where to begin to thank Park Avenue Orchestra for the most perfect wedding day we could have ever asked for. From the moment we booked them to the very last (encore) song on the dance floor, Hank and the Park Avenue Orchestra made everything easy, seamless, and most of all SO. MUCH. FUN! I have seen Park Ave perform at 2 other weddings, but nothing compares to booking them for your own wedding. There were many “best” things about working with Park Avenue, but something that was so unbelievably special to us was the custom songs they learned for us for our first dances. Our song as a couple is Shut Up and Dance by Walk the Moon and they created a slowed down version of it for us to dance our first dance to. It still brings me to tears when I watch our wedding video, it was just so beautiful and perfect. They also learned a Josh Groban song for my husband and his mom that was so special. For my dad and I, they not only learned a new song, but they created a transition from a nice slow Frank Sinatra song and went straight into Jump in the Line so we could start a conga line. It was AMAZING and such an awesome way to open the dance floor! However, the best part of the whole night was Park Avenue’s rendition of Shout. WOW. I don’t have enough words to describe the fun, energy, and EPIC DANCE PARTY that happens when Ricky Rainbow sings shout. Looking back at our wedding video, I think EVERYONE was on the dance floor! I actually got so “low” that I laid down on the dance floor in my wedding dress lol It was EPIC and a moment we will never forget!!! I think we’ve watched it about 25 times since we got our video haha Aside from Shout, the band brought my dad up to play drums, they brought my sister and I up to play cowbell…they really know how to get the crowd involved and make it a night full of the best memories. Hank made the wedding planning process so easy, simple and seamless. He thoroughly explained everything to us and made the planning process stress free. By far, he was our absolute best wedding vendor to work with and was our biggest advocate the day of the wedding- even bringing my mom a drink (or 2) when the venue didn’t quite do things right. He ensured our big day went perfectly and if there were any issues on the band/music/lighting/audio front, we never had to deal with it or even heard anything about it. He is a true professional! Thank you Park Avenue for creating the soundtrack to the best night of our lives, it wouldn’t have been the same without you!”
