Arthur did a great job with the ceremony and cocktail hour, and managed a tricky parent dance section (multiple sets of parents & timing!) We requested a Taylor Swift mashup and he exceeded expectations and made it the highlight of our night. The dance floor was always packed, and Arthur did a great job of taking into account our requests while playing music everyone would enjoy. We opted to use uplighting as well, which looked beautiful during dinner (we chose a warm lighting) and was so fun for the dance floor with flashing lights. By the end of the night, he even had guests asking him to travel to Texas to DJ their wedding! Booking DJ Thrilla was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding and we could not recommend him more!”

But we were impressed with how much more there was to it, and Collins Entertainment had it all covered from start to finish! There were so many details that we had not considered, like doing a "farewell dance" towards the end of the night. “We absolutely loved working with The Hook Club. Our amazing planner, Greenhouse Events, recommended THC, and we were sold immediately after meeting with Dan. He is super relaxed, nice, and so knowledgable. Dan and THC team made planning super easy for us. They took time to hear about our hopes and helped recommend different band sizes for us. We hadn’t heard of a DJ band before, but loved the idea of some live music with the versatility to play all sorts of music, but our venue wasn’t very big and we also didn’t want to break the bank and hire a huge band. We chose the 4 piece DJ band with singer, sax, drums, and DJ. We knew we LOVED the sax, so we also had the sax play for cocktail hour (shout out to Elijah, who was amazing), and it was one of the best parts of the night. For planning music, they sent out a very detailed and thorough spreadsheet with more songs than one could imagine, and we could rate ones we liked the most, choose ones we definitely wanted or didn't, and choose specific songs for important moments. We met a couple times to review music choices as well. One of our biggest fears with a DJ was that they'd talk too much and be a little annoying, but Dan did a great job as MC, and was very low-key like we asked but announced important moments clearly. Dan and all the musicians had such great energy and got everyone on the dance floor. Our vocalist, Christen, was also amazing — her voice was spectacular, and she was such an amazing performer and got everyone involved in the music and dancing. So many people told us how much they loved the music and the energy, and had never heard of a DJ band but thought it was an amazing concept and the addition of live music over tracks added extra excitement and fun. THC also helped out with lighting (uplights and dance lights), and worked with our fantastic planner and the venue to help us decide the best setup. Ultimately, we loved working with THC. Their DJ-band setup is unique and adds so much variety to your music while allowing for some of the energy that comes from live performers. We danced the night away and had an absolute blast. 100% would recommend THC to anyone!”

“The first time I met Tony I knew he was going to be our DJ. He was so easy to talk to, and aside from that out of all the DJs we met with he was the only one that asked us what we wanted and what kind of music we had in mind. Hiring Tony was by far THE BEST decision we have ever made. Our dance floor was packed all night, and even the event staff were dancing throughout the night because he was that good. Everyone I talk to raves about how much fun they had and how awesome he was. Not only will he make sure the music is great and your dance floor is on fire, but he actually cares about what you and your significant other want. The week before our wedding so many vendors were reaching out to us about all the things that needed to be finalized; but when we met with Tony that Tuesday before our wedding he was such a breath of fresh air. After that meeting my finance and I were like okay we are ready, and we know we are going to have fun. Not only is Tony himself an amazing DJ and person but so are the other members of his team. One of his associates was the DJ for our afterparty and he was equally as amazing. We can honestly say that we had SO MUCH FUN at our wedding and a large part of that was due to Tony and his team.
