When my husband and I started looking for our wedding venue, we had pretty high expectations. We are full-time wedding photographers and most of the venues we have been to are pretty cookie cutter and not at all what we wanted for our own wedding. You’ve got your barns, ballrooms, and industrial chic venues and then you’ve got something completely different like New Holland. New Holland has character, charm, and a one-off nature that was exactly what we were looking for. We knew that when we decided to have our wedding after being married already for ten years, it had to be at New Holland. Sophie and Reagan made the experience booking and hosting our wedding effortless. Our entire wedding celebration was unconventional, and because of that, it required a whole lot of coordination with activities and food for our guests that typical weddings don’t necessitate. Sophie and Reagan handled everything the day of the wedding perfectly. It was like one big choreographed dance. I know that without them, our wedding would have been a huge, disorganized embarrassment, and we are so grateful they helped make our day run smoothly so that we could enjoy it. If you’re the kind of bride who is looking for something bespoke and can’t find it at any of the venues you’ve visited so far, I know you’ll find it at New Holland.

We had our wedding on January 21, 2023. We were blessed to have our reception at The Venue at the Star Theater in Toccoa, GA. As a renovated historic theater, The Star offers classic vibes with romantic feels as you dance under the string lights. Areas offered are main floor for seating and dancing, stage area which we used for seating for the bridal party and the DJ, as well as the balcony area for seating. One of my favorite parts was the perfect get away / leaving reception area in the rear of the building. It is set up perfectly for guests to send off the happy couple and makes for absolutely beautiful moments captured by pictures or video. Lastly, I can’t say enough good things about the owner operators, Jim and Christy. They really go with you through the journey of finding the best way to set up all of the aspects for your special day - whether it a wedding, reception, or something special occasion. They not only let you know of what has worked well for other events at the venue but are open to trying new set ups and such (of course within reason - no hanging from the ceilings or anything like that!!) I would recommend 10/10.

Planning a rehearsal dinner long distance is not an easy thing to do. I contacted several venues in Dahlonega Ga where my son and his fiancee were getting married. No one would call me back except for Twenty Seven on Park. My future daughter-in-law also recommended them since they had stopped in to see if it was a possible wedding venue. The size was too small for the wedding, but it was perfect for the rehearsal dinner! There was plenty of room to mingle and have various stations for desserts and refreshments. Everyone had a great time and the food was delicious!

5.0

Chamblee, GA
  • Up to 350 guests
  • Select services

  • Starts at $5,850

Since 1994 we've been a family-owned business. My parents owned and operated a uniform and linen factory that is still in operation today. In 2001, they opened a linen rental business in downtown Chamblee that serviced the most prestigious clients in the Atlanta area. From Turner Field to Bacchanalia we learned the ins and outs of being hospitable to the hospitality industry. In 2016, we sold the business, and in 2017 we renamed the space to Factory Atlanta. We want to work with people who have a vision for their project, their big day, or their milestone event.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Pets can join the celebration
  • Space for a large guest list
  • Multiple event spaces

Venue considerations

  • No free parking
  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
  • Requires outside catering services
Factory Atlanta was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out, the team was open, helpful, and incredibly informative. Leah and Regina went above and beyond to ensure our day was everything we dreamed of. The large, customizable space was incredibly accommodating - they even allowed us to drop off decor days before the wedding and bring our dog for the ceremony! I love that Factory Atlanta can truly help you pull off anything. Their attention to detail and willingness to work with us made the planning process stress-free. We could not have asked for a better venue or team to host our special day.

The ambience was perfect --- elegant, warm, and inviting, creating an impressive setting for our celebration. Every detail in our private room, from the decor to the lighting, was thoughtfully arranged, setting a magical tone for the evening. The food was exceptional! Every dish (shrimp & grits, brisket, short ribs, fish tacos, roast chicken and more) was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, earning positive reviews from all our guests. The variety and quality exceeded our expectations, making it a highlight of our special day. Southbound's customer service also stood out. We still strive to provide the best in food, beverage, and service. It is still very personal to us.
