The Barns at Edgemont Inn consists of a 4400-square-foot custom-built event barn which, together with the historic Edgemont Inn and on-site lodging, sits on 20 acres of verdant hillside in the scenic Champlain Valley. Lodging that accommodates up to 23 people. The surrounding acreage contains a sweep of peaceful farmland and hardwood forest, etched by an old-fashioned stone fence. Kathy had attended University of Vermont, fell in love with the state, and vowed to return one day. John left teaching to take his lifelong organic gardening passion to the next level. They looked at a number of farms across southern Vermont, and when they found the Farm at Williams River House, they knew they had found someplace really special – a front row view of Fox Chair Mountain, verdant green hayfields, timeless stone walls and split rail fences, and a stately home dating back to the time of our nation’s founding! They were home, and they wanted to share this magical and romantic space with others.
