“I highly recommend Sound Originals for wedding photography based on the communication, organization, value, and most importantly, the final product. Gabriella was always very responsive and clear in the messages sent via the online portal when we had questions. I was a bit hesitant to book this vendor because I didn’t know anyone who’d used the company before, but I’m glad I did. We were lucky to get paired with Jared as our photographer and immediately felt comfortable with him on our virtual planning call. On the day of our wedding he was prompt and had plenty of ideas ready to go, but he was also very open to any ideas we had. He never made us feel rushed at all as you could tell he wanted to take his time to get the shots right. He was patient when necessary, efficient when necessary and always reminded us to let him know if any poses didn’t feel comfortable or natural. We didn’t have a second shooter but you wouldn’t be able to tell by looking at our photos as Jared managed to get great variety in the angles during the ceremony and reception. The photos are beautiful and we are looking forward to framing a few. We got the sneak peak within 2 weeks and the full photo gallery not too long after that. The only critique I have is that the florist we used was incorrectly tagged on the sneak peak instagram post, and wasn’t corrected even though I reached out via direct message and comment. The flowers were beautiful & the correct florist deserved the credit. Overall, I would definitely work with Sound Originals and Jared in particular again in the future.”

“When I say I searched high and low for a photographer with vintage style editing like Tara, I mean it. I spent months and months looking. She was always on my radar but was unfortunately booked for our date. After lots of contemplation and talking it over with Tara, we decided to go the route of having a “sub” photographer shoot the day and then Tara would do the editing herself. WOW did that work out for the best. The photographers that came for day of were two INCREDIBLE ladies, one I was highly considering when I found out Tara was booked, the other is now my business brand photographer. I’m a photographer, mom, wife, snowboarder, roller coaster enthusiast, former math teacher, and former mechanical engineer. I love the process of learning, which led to me earning my Ph.D. (but you don’t have to call me Dr.)! I have an extremely short attention span, am addicted to wearing beanies and headbands, and am fueled by chai tea. I'm socially awkward and I make weird faces when I concentrate to take photos. I dress for comfort and for rolling around on the ground, standing in creeks, and climbing into trees to capture the best angles for my photographs — but I do clean up reasonably well on wedding days!

Hi! I'm Meghan. I've had a love for photography since my parents bought me my first camera for Christmas in 2001. I took pictures of anyone and anything that sat still for more than .03 seconds. The more pictures I took, the more I loved it. It became a passion of mine, but it wasn't until later that I had the dream of starting my own business. In the meantime, I teach middle school - 7th grade Language Arts to be exact. Yes, it's exactly as crazy as you're imagining, likely even more so. Teaching has taught me two things: patience and how to laugh at myself.

“I found Janine with Vow2Vow through Zola. I was drawn to her style of photography because I felt like she edited photos in a natural way. We scheduled a phone call and she was so warm and answered all my questions. As the wedding day got closer, I gave Janine my list of preferred shots. She managed to get every single shot!! I should note that I did not have a wedding party so that freed us up for portraits during the cocktail hour. All night Janine was unobtrusive while still managing to get the shots. She also did a great job of keeping an eye on the timeline and moving us swiftly along so we were able to enjoy the night. My husband and I were leaving for our honeymoon the day following the wedding so Janine managed to quickly give us some sneak peaks to hold us over until the final album was edited. I also have to mention that Janine was able to get good photos of my toddler children and manage to make us all look good despite the hundred percent humidity. We will cherish these photos forever!”
