Born and raised in Houston, I moved to Austin, Texas in 1998. This vibrant city has become my home, as well as an essential part of who I am. I bring a sense of at-home-comfort and ease with me, even when working in far off locations around the world. I began my professional photography career in the magazine industry, shooting for publications all over the world. I quickly found that weddings brought me so much joy, that it has become my full time passion. I get to be with couples on their happiest day and capture moments that will be remembered for a lifetime,

After 10 years of marriage, the memories from our special day have slowly faded. With weddings going by in a flash, it's nearly impossible to commit it all to memory and with time, it will fade. I've had a camera in my hand since I was a kid. My mom was a wedding photographer also. I spend my days taking photos because it inspires me and fills me with joy. To me, there is nothing better than capturing a beautiful moment. I have photographed weddings all over the US TX, NY and the Hudson Valley, the East Coast, as well as in Europe, the Caribbean, & Hawaii. A few more things about me… I love the ocean, traveling, exploring, hiking, dancing, the change of seasons, the outdoors, sunrises, sunsets, walking without a destination, that few minutes of magical golden light before the sun sets, life… and telling stories with photographs.

My passion for photography began in high school when I constantly used my father’s digital camera to take images of our family dog. Eventually, I started to take photos of my friends and random individuals at the county fair. I’ve always been a creative individual, and I desperately desire that outlet in my life. So, I decided to start chasing my dreams and established myself as a Professional Photographer! I feel most like myself behind a camera lens. I love everything about what I do. There’s nothing quite like the feeling you get right before you send a client their image gallery. . I find so much joy in making people smile.

I have been shooting since I was about ten years old on 110 cameras, in high school I learned to shoot on a 35 MM camera. Professionally I accepted my first paid shoot in 1996, a boudoir session for the girlfriend turned wife of a friend deploying overseas with the Army. I earned $50 and a six-pack of beer for a one-hour session on a Canon AE1 35 MM film camera I bought at a yard sale.

I started my photography journey taking photos of my wife. Watching her come to life with confidence was the greatest feeling in the world. And when she used that confidence to overcome her negative self-image, I knew I was onto something. I initially set out to ensure everyone I worked with knew what this felt like.
