“We absolutely loved working with DK Hebert! We first met them when taking our engagement photos. They met us for a couple of drinks first to get to know us and learn what our expectations were and then we started the shoot. Kirstin was great at directing at us and making us feel at ease in front of the camera and David had a lot of creative ideas so that our shoot didn’t come out looking too cookie cutter or posed. We were looking for photographers in Louisiana who knew how to take photos of brown skin and edit it as well without making us look too orange or making our skin appear lighter. We were amazed with the photos that came back. It looked like a work of art. We shot for almost four hours with an outfit change and David and Kirstin basically took photos the entire time as we walked around downtown Baton Rouge and the state Capitol grounds— so we had a ton to choose from. We no longer live in Louisiana but want to use their services again in the future and will travel to do so! I’ve been doing photography since 2012. There has definitely been a lot of growth and sold cameras through out the years. I’m 100% self taught and I believe that shows in my work.
