“We had the pleasure of working with Lauren over the past year for our engagement photos and March 2023 wedding. We absolutely loved working with her! We found Lauren on Instagram and after looking at her portfolio knew that her style was what we wanted for our wedding. In addition to loving her style we also found her rates to be very reasonable after receiving quotes from multiple vendors. Her process is very thorough. She took the time to set-up a Zoom call with us as potential clients to go over any questions. During the call she explained every aspect of how she handles weddings/wedding couples, which was extremely helpful. Prior to the wedding, she arranged a couple of photoshoots (our engagement shoots) in order for us to really get to know each other and feel comfortable being photographed. “Liza photographed our small intimate wedding. From the outset, she set out to make sure the day went smoothly and that we would get the best pictures possible on our special day. We explained to her that our wedding would consist of a very short ceremony and a dinner. The rest of the night would be some games and hanging out, but no dancing. Our original vision was to have her photograph the ceremony, group shots, and the dinner and skip couple portraits. After consulting with her, she recommended skipping the dinner photos (nobody looks good while eating) and photographing the ceremony, group shots, and, since our package left us with a remaining hour, plan for couple portraits before our ceremony. It was great advice and we're happy to have the couple portraits! On the day of she was very approachable and made us feel comfortable during our private session. She was clear when directing and arranging folks for the group photos. All of the pictures turned out great! I would definitely recommend Liza for any wedding or special occasion!”

“We had such a great time working with Ben for our engagement photos and it only solidified how awesome it would be for our wedding the following autumn. He was flexible and professional, made sure we were comfortable, and thoroughly explained everything so we knew what to expect from our final photos. Speaking of which, they came in 3 days! We were happy to wait the full two-week period for engagement photos, but getting them sooner blew us away. Our wedding experience was somehow even better—Ben and his second shooter were so fun and added such a good vibe to the already amazing day. They covered EVERYTHING and we received our photos well before the estimated delivery date (again!) which meant we got to scroll through our gorgeous photos on our honeymoon. The sheer number of photos is incredible and I can never choose my favorite (I change my mind every time and it’s been 2 years). Our wedding was everything we ever dreamed and Ben’s work captures it beautifully. Truly cannot recommend Pictus Photography highly enough!”
