She listened to our concerns about getting some of our guests to dance and gave us a lot of great advice going into the wedding day, like adding dance floor props to get everyone engaged and adjusting our anniversary dance so everyone ends up on the dance floor. She worked with us and curated a great wedding playlist. Our guests complimented us on what a great DJ she was. Everyone loved seeing her behind the booth, dancing along with the guests. At one point, one of our guests dropped a glass and she played “Heart of Glass” right after, which was perfectly timed (lol). She really knew how to read the crowd and keep the energy up while still playing some of our silly requests. She curated a great mashup for the mother/son dance. My brother-in-law wanted to play a piece on a keyboard for part of his speech and Gemma worked with us in providing an amp so everyone could hear the piece. She even took videos during the ceremony and reception and shared them with me afterwards which is something I did not expect but was so grateful to have. I couldn’t recommend her enough!”

“In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

“I will just start by saying that hiring the Franklin & Alison Music Band was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding on 5/18/24 at the Atrium of Tenafly! We received so many compliments from all the guests for the quality of the live band we had; and to our joy, the dance floor was always brimming with people. We happened upon the band’s website via The Knot’s suggested music provider list and absolutely loved their sample videos, songs, pictures, and testimonials. From the get go, Laraine was a pleasure to work with - always clear, on point with her answers, considerate, personable, and compassionate. We spoke at length via several phone calls and email exchanges about our history as a couple and our music preferences and then we met in person to go over all the details and narrow down the list of our favorite songs, She paid close attention to the pronunciation of names, nailed the parent dance song suggestions and the timing of the different reception activities. Then Laraine, Keith and the band did an amazing job at compiling an extremely successful playlist customized to our wedding. Katrice’s voice is stunning and so versatile, Sam was the perfect host, Keith was just so fun to chat with, and everyone in the band was just phenomenal!
