“KNG Photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day last summer. The photographers were understanding, great at directing guests around, and fit right into the wedding day seamlessly. By the end of the night even my bridesmaids said that Kristen was the best wedding photographer that they’ve ever had (and they’ve been in quite a few weddings). Kristen was amazing at reading the room, finding phenomenal poses to take photographs, and capturing both the details and the important shots. I can’t say more positive things about how KNG photography handled themselves and made our special day perfect. Kristen understood how to make little kids cooperate and understood when they wouldn’t. She knew how to capture vulnerable moments - like those with my dad - and offered to take special shots that we would have never considered (and of course they came out perfectly). She created a timeline for the day and any thoughts I had she took them into account and found a way to incorporate them into the plan. Truely felt like a team because of how kind and thoughtful she is. Get to the day, she was a calming presence for sure. She showed up with a smile on her face and seamlessly cued the bridesmaids and myself throughout. She was present but didn’t hover it was the perfect balance. Along with that she was my hype girl throughout it 3 Now let’s talk about the pictures, I’m not used to getting my picture taken and feel so uncomfortable being the center of attention but she tells you every detail you need, and if something doesn’t look right she’ll correct it gracefully in the moment. I felt like I got to enjoy my day without it feeling like a photoshoot. She delivered the pictures so fast!! A couple of my bridesmaids made comments about how fast the turnaround time was…and they were breathtaking!! Better than I ever could have imagined, I can’t stop looking at them. “My husband and I hired Aprea Media, aka Sarah and John, to be our photographers for our wedding. Their package came with an engagement photo session, which we did shortly after hiring them. The engagement session was so much fun! We went to the place we had our first date, LA Burdick, and Sarah captured so many cute photos of us drinking hot chocolate together. We then walked around Cambridge and had some really fun impromptu photos at a flower shop. We loved the engagement photos so much we used them on our save-the-dates and incorporated them into the wedding decor! It was so awesome having Sarah and John both capture all of our special moments on the day of the wedding, from getting ready (BOTH me and my husband have a bunch of awesome getting ready photos!), our first look and portraits before the ceremony, the ceremony itself, cocktail hour, reception festivities, and incredibly artistic details shots. They are both so much fun and offer cute suggestions for poses, but they also go with the flow if you have fun ideas you want to try! We got a lot of really sweet unplanned photos throughout the night. I didn't know anything about different photography styles before we hired them (we just liked their work and they were super friendly), but they really are so experienced with candid/documentary style photography. We love having photos where we can see all the sincere emotions on our faces from laughing, crying with joy, and pure bliss, in addition to our more posed portrait-style photos. Sarah's editing is so dreamy across all our engagement and wedding photos. We now have our walls at home covered in their photography - they did such an amazing job capturing all the fun parts of our day! As a really sweet bonus, they recorded video of our first dance and ceremony upon our request, along with a lot of fun highlights that we get to watch to relive the memories now. We truly can't recommend them enough!!!”
