I was initially hesitant because I'm super organized and a bit of a control freak, but now I can't imagine how I would have pulled off our 150-person wedding without her. To anyone considering a wedding planner: trust me, there's way more that goes into a wedding than you realize. Having Katie on board meant I didn’t have to stress about logistics, timelines, or the million moving parts that come with a wedding. Instead, I got to focus on the fun stuff—like my cute DIY projects, spending quality time with my bridesmaids, and enjoying my bachelorette party and rehearsal dinner. Katie is an absolute rockstar. I gave her my full trust, and she exceeded every expectation. She’s organized, calm under pressure, and genuinely cared about making our day perfect. There are no words to describe how thankful we are to Merrie and her team. We got married in November 2024 and our wedding went incredibly well. We couldn’t have done it without Merrie. From our initial conversation we knew that we could trust her with this important event. She was always very upfront how she could help us and that is what sold us. We didn’t have a clue about what it took to plan a wedding, and Merrie made it so easy to make sure we didn’t miss anything and everything was covered. She created our day-of-timeline for us which was a huge help. She was always available for anything we needed. She drove out for any meeting we needed her for—she really went above and beyond for us, and we really appreciated that. Day of there was an issue regarding guest seating and Merrie and her team quickly handled the problem and allowed me to take my focus away from that and actually enjoy my wedding day. They made sure we were always having fun and had everything we needed. They helped us set up all of our decorations and made sure my visions came to life. We could not recommend her more. This review is long overdue! When we were planning our wedding, I kept telling everyone we do not need any help on the day of! Or with planning. I got married on 07/16/23. Where do I begin! Emily was there to help me when my first venue shut down and helped me find a new venue that was 100x more beautiful. Emily went out of her way to help coordinate a meeting and visit. On the day she did such an amazing job that she made everything look way better than I ever imagined. She also helped make the day flow smoothly that all vendors were aware of the timeline and things were done on time. She helped me fit in all my major events during photography coverage. I cannot say enough about Emily. You really need to choose her because she will give it her all to help make your day go smooth and look amazing. My husband and I appreciate you for all the help you have provided us. And also she took some pics of the wedding and videos and I'm so thankful she did because I am in awe and love the stuff she captured.

We worked with Patty as our wedding coordinator. Patty excelled at finding vendors that met our specific guidelines and was very cost-effective, which was a big help during the planning process. However, we did have some concerns with her approach to vendor communication. She often relied on the bride to handle communication difficulties with vendors, rather than taking the lead herself. This caused some unnecessary stress. We would have liked Patty to be more hands-on in providing design ideas. Fortunately, our on-site wedding venue coordinator was fantastic and kept everything running smoothly on the day. However, we were disappointed that wedding party members were asked to handle tasks that should have been managed by Patty. Our biggest concern was that the marriage certificate was left behind. Ensuring the certificate is on-site should have been a top priority for the coordinator, either the morning of the wedding or at the rehearsal. Overall, while Patty had strengths in certain areas, there were aspects of her service that fell short of our expectations.

Choosing Joyfully Co. for our wedding planning services was the BEST decision we made throughout the entire wedding planning. Blaire was a phenomenal wedding planner in that she was incredibly flexible, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process. My husband and I changed our minds about a hundred times on hotel venue vs small elopement and even went back and forth between several venues. Blaire was never impatient with us and truly wanted us to have the best day. The wedding day itself was perfect. I could not have hoped for a more organized, effortless, and stress-free experience. Throughout the day, Blaire and Sharon checked up on all of our guests and made sure their needs were met. They checked on us and asked if we needed anything, they handled all minor issues flawlessly and kept us informed so we felt none of the stress. Absolutely will be recommending Joyfully Co. to all of my family and peers for their weddings.
